Not quite sure on the material that you refered to in your comment. But I have always used BCY and Winner Choice string loop material that is 2.3mm thick. I would only use material that is made for string loops.
i bought some 160lbs strengh braided nylon picked it up at a hardware store not specifically for Dloops... is that gonna work aswell???

@SCHneeWill It might work. You would be better off just buying it at your local archery shop because it will hold up much better.

The problem is that here stringloop cord is not sold...It's written that this rope endures 55 kg (about 115lbs) and i hope its enough.

Nice vid, but the sound is too weak.I also have a question-can i use a 1,7mm polyamide rope for a string loop.
