the game will be commercial. you will be able to download the full version. play a period of time then you can decide to buy it. it's good to see commercial games back in market. criterion was always an extraordinary company in the market. with their games , their free updates , how they respect their work , the others , i have ps3 version but i'll buy pc version i'm waiting for a psp version as well from the company.

yes but it's more realistic and difficult to do. You need an SUV with low speed in order to hit the traffic and not crash.

well i just love how you can jsut drive around and hit cars, the only equation that EA should be putting into the game is "how high will the normal car flies when a burnout car hits it" that's all, oh and of course when it blows up how many cars gonna fly everywhere, i just love that about burnout, not a lot of equations, just crash, blows up, fly everywhere, rush speed, gives you the tingle down the spind that just feels good. and of course, to top it off with ultra nice HD graphic,just beauty

Some cars do it but its really not beneficial since it slows you down (its really just bumping into traffic and not crashing).

Its the way Burnout was meant to be, really.

u know, in my version of burn out, you hit cars and make them fly around with tiny beautiful pieces and glass and metal coming out of them as they fly up, slowly comes down and hit your enemy's car, then WHAM like a rocket dug a big hole in your enemy's car, the it drives around crazily, and hit a house or something, then it blows up with crash breaker and everything around it fly everywhere and windows in buildings breaks because of the force put upon them. THAT"S wat burn out means to me.

That's Burnout Revenge. The gameplay in that game is a sidestep from the rest of the series. Normally Burnout is about dodging traffic by mere inches, earning boost for your efforts. Burnout Revenge changed that by letting you slam into same-way traffic (if it wasn't large) and using it as a weapon (either to clear more traffic or score a Takedown).

You should play the rest of the series and see the real face of Burnout.

Also, Criterion said they played it with 200+fps on a avrage gamer rig... ie their fastest rig in the building at that moment (~8800GT, Dual Core something, 2GB Ram etc)

Or so I've heard/read... I don't see a reason why it wouldn't be so...

yah man criterion said that it "should" have 200+ fps on normal gamer rig, what if they said that based on their comps, like if they have a 1800gtx or something (making this up, no such thing as 1800gtx, hope not) which gives about 80 fps or something, they would think that rich*** kids can get like a gx graphic card 9000 or something, would have something like 8 gazilian fps. just my guess tho, they probably predict based on how sucky or how good a "normal" gaming rig would be and base the fps

don't think it will, might be wrong, but to make sure, just get a phenom "quad core", 2 8200gts or 8600gt or gts i for got, and sli them, if not get a new mobo, and an HD tv to top it off. then, sit back and experience the feeling that no word can describe, but to "have fun" ^.^
