  • We had this music on our wedding in holland

  • Jag sitter här och fäller en tår. Denna låt får alltid min hemlängtan till Dalarna att svämma över.

  • Jag minns hur jag fick gåshud då jag hörde den här på Grammisgalan. Så otroligt bra den är.

  • Just a shame they all need bits of paper with the words on. Spoils an otherwise nice performance.

  • @discogareth

E little explanation. This piece isnt like normal popular song and has more homage to classical musik with different parts for each singer. So they no the lyrics, but has to have the notes to be able to sing their special part. So its lucky they have this help.

  • I´ve always been very fond of female voices in harmony. This is probably the first thing that caught my attention when, being a kid, I heard abba´s music played by my parents. This is a wonderfull example of how andersson´s music has developed through the years. This melody, and those voices are just glorious. Thanks for posting

  • If this doesn't nail it! Benny Andersson is one of the best, if not the best composers of the 20th century.

    This is just so beautiful.

Thanks,Tjallew for the heads up. Straight to favorites.

  • One of the most beautiful tunes ever

  • Benny! You're the Mozart of modern times! How can anyone have so many absolutely wonderful melodies inside them??

  • great video clip!

  • Love it

  • Love Benny greatly, but could someone please translate it? :D (god he's soooo talented!)

  • This is my best shot. Remember, this is poetry, it doesn't really translate. :)

Ring, my bells, be the beat of my heart

The murky depth of my springwell,

    whirls in my watercourse

    Hover swallow-like over summery meadows

    Open wide horizons,

    strum every string of emotion.

Sing my bliss, sing my longing,

sing my wordless loss and my

    speechless grief.

  • And when my worry waxes ever

    in grim and inclement times,

ring, ring, my bells, the sound which

    eases the mind.

Ring, ring, my bells, call to

dance and play, and in the

late evening of summer kindle a fire.

Let it smoulder slowly while the night

passes, let it warm someone ere the light of morn.

  • The echo of a mirage of youth,

of a love that died long, long ago.

But the reverb lives on, and dwells

in my song - so ring, ring, my bells,

sing of that which once was.

  • your translation make me speakless 5***** ofcourse Tank you very mutch
