Why is this presented as a fighting style? Its a dance. Regardless of philosophy, facts are facts. Capoeira has only one fighting video that shows a victory in a true fighting format or compatition against another style. Capoeira is a fun little dance but thats about it
I`m sorry my friend, but you comitting a big mistake over here, capoeira is a fighting style, and a very dangerous one with the player is skilled. The "shows" most the videos present of course is more entertainment because that whats amuse the public that dont know capoeira yet., it is really a show with jumps and flips. But if you see a real hardcore Roda, you will not say that anymore,
and most of those cant be seen on videos on the web. and as another fighting style you cannot compare "whitch is the best, whitch is better for win a fight" because you cant compare the fighting it self, you have to compare the fighters, and their skills on it. But the purpose of capoeira and just any other fighting style is not to be doog fighter and beat up everyone. but for self-control and self-defence and of course happiness.
