@metraF40PH163 - The early one is to give traffic entering the roundabout that is backed up across the tracks, the opportunity to get clear of the tracks before the barriers activate, by having the early barrier stop other traffic from entering the roundabout.
@GeoffBlackmore I assume this is to keep traffic signals from having to be installed on the roundabout to provide "pre-emption" to keep the crossing clear?
