that performance was terrible. he does having amazing technique and all but he has no musicality. plus... he mixed up a carnival of venice cadenza with the flight of the bumblebee. it just didn't sound good. and besides.... last the the french and the russians were paired up there was a war... don't want anything like that happening haha.

Do you play the trumpet? I checked your channel and your talent seems to be getting tickled. You really don't know what you're talking about do you and I base that on your "liking" some guy named Stoelzel's trumpet playing. Go listen to more of his performances.

@kujhac yeah i do play trumpet and that comment on my channel is based on a video i posted 3 years ago of me playing an Eb over triple C very poorly. i have been told by many that im a talented player. i have gone to school at the north carolina school of the arts and i studied under judy saxton and now i am at east carolina university studying under britton theurer. i have listened to a lot of ruben and it's all just flashy stuff. maybe i'll post a vid of my playing and show what im made of...

i don't have technique nearly as amazing as this kid... but i honestly feel he needs to learn to be more musically expressive. im not saying im the most expressive player out there but i feel he should pay less attention to his technique and focus on the music.
