  • C64 Robocop 2 , remember me NES version.

  • robocop is very slidy.

  • I've still got my C64 & this game. remember it like it was yesterday lol

  • great graphix for the day imo,, water effects look really good

  • The game has no music?

  • i remember this game i cudnt even gt past that first ledge he jumps over lol game was hardcore man

  • Wow the memories! Bought this on cartridge from Radio Shack, it came in bubble wrap for some reason inside. The main sprite was slidy as hell for some reason, used to make timing jumps very hard.

  • c64 console couldve competed with sega and nintendo 8 bits easily, but there were not that many c64 games that came out on cartridge, maybe it was the lack of a sonic or mario type game, although mayhem nearly made it

  • you supposed to save those green guys with the cigars btw :)

  • @ElensarFFXI Not save them, arrest them. They're the criminals you see tallied at the end.

  • Does anyone else remember the secret bonus level in this vid? At 1.41 on the platform below robocop the criminal is standing in front of the large cylidrical pipe. Notice the two floor tiles are slightly different than the others. stand on them and press down on the controller and robocop goes to the bonus level.

  • @foderahead Cheers, just got this on an emulator and for the life of me couldn't remember where the hell it was.

  • @BoabBarca No worries mate, apparently, (not 100%sure) there is meant to be a bonus section in each level. But buggered if I could find them all. I remember I found a couple at best. Happy gaming.

  • @foderahead Haha same - I remember one on level four, but I don't think I found any others back in the day. Cheers.

  • yeah it was only released on cartridge

  • This was level 1 and the guys smoking you didn't shoot. You were to bang into into them as they were to be taken prisoner. As you can see at the top it remains 0 for the whole level. £15 on cartridge in WH Smith in 1991

  • The same as the NES version...

Except that here Robocop is a walking techno song.

  • this shit was hard as fuck, sliding piss me off

  • @AlexIsUber i was wondwer why did he slide in the game too,but it was a realy tough game, loved it but also hated it

  • i did wonder weather it was a design flaw the sliding, but recently i played the game on nes emulator and its the same

  • Classic!!!!!!

This was level 3 or 4 if I'm not mistaken.

I never found that secret nuke lab though.

  • That was actually level 1, although some other levels used the same graphics. The entrance to the secret store was located in the spot marked with special bricks (which looked different from regular bricks). You can see this spot in 1:40 - 1:44. The store can be accessed by pulling joystick down while standing on entrance.

  • damn rights this game was hard,i remember no matter where you were every time he would move it felt like he was slipping!

  • lol .. yeah man !!!! that's what made the controls rock hard :lol

  • Memories!!

  • i had this on c64 cartridge,is this the tape version of it ?,just i remember it looking, the graphics slightly better than is

  • That sprite of Robocop looks more like Kryten out of Red Dwarf.

  • It looks exactly the same as the terrible Nes version. I'd stick with the Zx Spectrum version, thanks.

  • I had this one on cartridge too, brings back memories

  • Robo was so slidey in this one it used to drive me mad when he slipped off the edge

  • I loved this game, thank you for the memories! I still remember the secret on that level.

  • Haha i remember this game. Im sure it was the first C64 cartridge i owned.
