Wow the memories! Bought this on cartridge from Radio Shack, it came in bubble wrap for some reason inside. The main sprite was slidy as hell for some reason, used to make timing jumps very hard.
c64 console couldve competed with sega and nintendo 8 bits easily, but there were not that many c64 games that came out on cartridge, maybe it was the lack of a sonic or mario type game, although mayhem nearly made it
Does anyone else remember the secret bonus level in this vid? At 1.41 on the platform below robocop the criminal is standing in front of the large cylidrical pipe. Notice the two floor tiles are slightly different than the others. stand on them and press down on the controller and robocop goes to the bonus level.
@BoabBarca No worries mate, apparently, (not 100%sure) there is meant to be a bonus section in each level. But buggered if I could find them all. I remember I found a couple at best. Happy gaming.
This was level 1 and the guys smoking you didn't shoot. You were to bang into into them as they were to be taken prisoner. As you can see at the top it remains 0 for the whole level. £15 on cartridge in WH Smith in 1991
That was actually level 1, although some other levels used the same graphics. The entrance to the secret store was located in the spot marked with special bricks (which looked different from regular bricks). You can see this spot in 1:40 - 1:44. The store can be accessed by pulling joystick down while standing on entrance.

@ElensarFFXI Not save them, arrest them. They're the criminals you see tallied at the end.

That sprite of Robocop looks more like Kryten out of Red Dwarf.

It looks exactly the same as the terrible Nes version. I'd stick with the Zx Spectrum version, thanks.
