@MsDDRey : I hate to say this but todays generation have proved to be a great big disappointment....especially in the Uk with the advent of 'Grime'....
Ahh the london 90's vibe. Co produced by the Twilight Firm and recorded at their old studio in north london. It says mixed by Twilight Firm on the record, but really it was a co-production. Still sounding fresh.
time ago when i was young by bro had this song on tape. it was the intrumentel version of this track it had a saxaphone instead of vocals. i used to listen to that track everyday. if anyone knows how or where i could get hold of that version i would be forever gratful... its unlikely but worth asking anyway.
I think this was one of the most underated tunes of the 90's, banging beat with a positive message, and I remember beating this out on my technics system back in the early ninetees when systems still had turn tables ha ha, all in all thugh a truly great tune. Gotta go as i need to play it again.
Respects to the 'badboysoul, as though I knew the song verbatum, couldn't remember the artists name, check him out some good grooves on ther.
This is a TUNNNNEEEEE. A true Classic with highly relevant lyrics. I met Noel when I was promoting my original version of "Dreams" sung by Gabrielle in 1991 on my Victim rrecord label. Checkout badboy-soul on the WEB for the original "Dreams" lick. Nuff Nuff Respect Noel!!!...I hope to see you again soon to do soething my man. You are a true talent!!!
What have we allowed to happen to these un recognised but oh so influential musical giants?
Love REAL soul miss it!

Reminds me of Choice FM, Chipie, Chevignon, an era of FANTASTIC tunes and times when you could rave with good people.
