  • some people like maintenance, its part of the joy of owning the bike and working on it.

  • kickstart on the left ?

  • @Usuallama817 yes

  • wow the noise is soo appealing! looks fun

  • @wwfww to me theres no other bike like it

  • @pilotman750 and is it reliable?

  • @wwfww well its never really broken down on me, but it is high maintenance i.e i strip and rebuild the motor every 50 or so hours. its all about preventative maintenance, plus i change the oil every 4 hours or so filter every other. plus i use motorex 10/60 cross power 4t.

  • @pilotman750 oh i see. that's the thing with the exotic motorcycles, they give great satisfaction but demand a great care also.

thanks for the answer and beautiful machine you have!

  • @wwfww

    Depends If its happy ;9

    I have a FS650 08 and it had been like a dream.

  • hi could one of you pleas HELP me? i got a 96 fc400 and have trouble starting it..

  • totally agree;) i got a fc400 and used to struggle my left leg off, adjusted the decomp and there it was;) best bike ever

  • i would love to have one of those husaberg bikes, but i dont want one thats yellow and blue, id rather have one that is black, if i ever get myself a husaberg im either going to get one thats black (ive seen a few black ones for sale) or im going to repaint it.

im anyways going to tune the bike so ill probably repaint it then, cuz i know a guy that has a supermoto bike that he has put on a special exhaust and a few other things.

  • proper bikes i had a husqvarna 510 1988 had some bollocks on it

you miss treat it and bam its bitten ya leg lol

great once you get the nack great video pal just shows how easy it is once you know how

great pub toys to take it to the pub drink your coke and bet your mates £10 a pop that they cant start your bike lol 999 ambulance please

  • @winchurch6666 HAHAHA yes i use to do that when i was a kid with my 350 montesa, I would say if you can start it you can ride it. New vids of this bike coming soon

  • beringer brake FTW

  • like the bike hate the left kick

  • @xboxluva22 no problem after some practice.. im not even able to kick a right kick any more ^^

  • @CrankFrank00 agreed easy to use when you practice

  • when i start my husa I just pull a few mm after tdc, and then a loose kick and its start by himself.. but it is a pain when you dont know

  • @vinzfoolingaround do you just kick it like a cock?

  • Does this thing have a gear driven cam ?? is that a modification ?? has a nice whir!

  • @stdavross666 Hi no standard chain drive.. the noise is a due to a new balancer gear that runs tight doesnt seem to be a problem just makes a nice whirr especially when the engines cold. I think it sounds factory hahaha

  • @pilotman750 very nice indeed.

  • husa 650 is a beast

  • @Pazzur Agreed Fantastic bike

  • @vinzfoolingaround not quite sure what you mean `acting smart` I was just using correct big 4 stroke starting procedure

  • @pilotman750

the way you kick start you break you leg when its backfire xD

look like your dont have tighten your auto decomp

  • @geirandre89 well i never had a problem with it, you maybe right on the auto decomp but it works fine as it is for me so il leave it as it is

  • @pilotman750 I understand:) my decomp where not thight and the kick was hard. but this year I thighten it and now is like a 50ccm. im not kidding:) thighten it with 2mm slack and you will be amazed

  • To anyone having trouble getting their four stroke started heres a few simple steps that will help alot.

1.make sure you have gas and the petkok is turned on

    2. get the piston TDC top dead center that when its almost impossible to kick.

3.pull in decomp lever and push the kick start down about an inch

4.let the kick start return to top

    5. give it a good kick

these steps should help a lot if your having trouble

  • nice bike^^

  • @GARFIELDDD89 Thanks.. owes me a lot of money hahaha but its worth every penny smiles per miles its good value :)

  • TheHardcoreBiker would be the shit at Tail of The Dragon... That'd be a GREAT place for this internet tough guy to prove what a bad ass his Harley is... That is, IF he's even old enough to ride. Like comparing a Ferrari to a RV... Good work, e-douchebag...

  • please can you explain a bit better? I just got an 08 650 and the starter stripped today. I can't kick it over for the life of me. Some further help would be REALLY appreciated. You make it look easy! I just want to ride my beast!

Can you walk me through please?

oh p.s..I put on the akropovic exhaust today...WOW!!!!! what a noise! Shame The starter stripped when i tried to button start.

  • @fingalsteen sent you a message :)

  • @pilotman750

i need the same informations , please :)

  • good job!

  • @gvezzoni thanks :)

  • dude. you need a new muffler or remove the db killer.

  • @09hahug no its fine as it is, got a lovely bark under load :-) its not a road legal silencer as it is :-) there aint no db killer as its a motorcross exhaust

  • i find it amazing the amount of people without a clue posting on Husaberg videos, its roughly 300% higher than the retards commenting on any other videos, ktm, honda or suzikis, only here i get to see Motard compared to harley davidson, you guys make me loose faith in humanity

  • gooooooooooooood

  • @manumole thanks

  • Does hardcorebiker really think his 2 wheel winnabago can beat a machine like this or is he just trying wind everybody up? He is pretty deluded if he is serious, the Husaberg 650 SM is a weapon. My stock DR650 on the otherhand would blow it off the road ;)~

  • @tubbybasset well i do think hes trying to wind everybody up lol, stock dr you must be trying to wind up as well :) lol

  • @pilotman750 yeah you got me there, I think you could be pretty confident that thing would smoke my DR in pretty short order. Sweet bike.

  • @tubbybasset lol yes possibly not with me riding it lmao

  • @pilotman750 Haha! No mate you would be right as I would probably stall it 3 or 4 times trying to get it off the line :)

  • goodman tvm

  • hello mate i just bought one o these and i know they need regular servicing how many hours do you use it for before oil&filter change please? tvm oh and just to say to that loser the hard core biker i just got rid of an zx6r for my husaberg and the sm is absolutly shit scary. love it.

  • @mikeym250 hi well personally i change my oil and filter every 5hrs which is pretty regular.. but i do believe it to be the key to keeping it in top order and it only holds about a litre of oil so a 5 ltr can lasts at least 4 oil changes so it dont seem so costly.. oh and i do run top spec racing oil. have fun on the back wheel :)

  • @TheHardcoreBiker..... umm how would you know wheather this bike is shit from a short video of it starting.. ? you clearly are a bit of narrow minded knob for making such a comment... cos i wouldnt go around bad mouthing hardley fucking moving sons also known as half a massey ferguson.... cos they weigh soo much.. oh and i welcome you to race this bike on any road around my area you may choose any hardly fucking moving son you want..lmao

  • @TheHardcoreBiker

u really got no clue bout engines or physics, do u! usa makes the worst and biggest engines in the world, so does harley. the "original" harley sound is caused by the bad engines, not by the displacement. my facit: husaberg engine is pure power, harley engine is pure nonsense...

  • @TheHardcoreBiker

too bad the berg would fuck up your shitty penis-enlargement-machine in every point you can imagine.

  • @TheHardcoreBiker hahahaha!!! V2-motor? You mean a V-Twin? ROFLMAO!!

  • @TheHardcoreBiker sei il più babbo di you tube.....con quel cancello senza

    chiavi di harley......

  • @TheHardcoreBiker ur an idiot lol harles are garbage exept the vrod and thats becasue porche helped make the motor

  • been lookin to buy one o theses for a while but how much better would i be compared to my xr650r sm

  • well itll need more maintenance but it will be a lot lighter..have more grunt, stop better and handle better

  • anyways nice bike !!

  • thanks i like it :)

  • u need to teach evryone else your kicking technique !!

  • well its not any different to anyone elses get it onto tdc then give it a good kick.. i will say my bike does start a lot easier now with race spec fcr carb

  • beautiful bike!!

  • thanks

  • I'd first wanted a Husaberg to, but the maintenance was to much for me, so I bought a KTM Duke II, fantastic machine, and pretty normal if it comes to maintenance. Still I like a Husaberg more :P there just so awesome and raw

  • yes theres something special about husabergs id say

  • Im wondering what is the best supermotard bike for every day use..

  • for everyday use! id go jap, not as much fun by less high maintenance

  • Holy shit! That silencer gotta be a meter long xD

  • yes about that..lol

  • hey, I'm thinking about buying one of these soon but i need something i can use for commuting every day as well as having fun on.. what are they like in terms of maintenance and reliability? ive only been riding bikes for about a year and a half and know little about these types of machines.

any advice would be appreciated. good video.

  • no way! this is basically a race bike on the road, the engine needs overhauling every 50hrs and i change my oil every 5 hrs maximum, is it good fun to ride hell yes, would i use it everyday hell no, if you want a bike to use everyday then i would think japanese

  • stand on the left of the bike, with your hands on the handlebars. pull the kicker out, and put your right foot ontop of the kicker. make sure the fuel tap is open and the bike is in neutral. then, as on any kickstart-bike, you kick with your right foot, when the bike takes, you jump on, and ride like it was indended to. hooligan style. enjoy.

  • what! stand on the left side! NO NO NO NO NO NO

  • yes true, only i have a race keihin fcr carb, which doesnt have a choke so i give it 1 full throttle to pump some fuel in

  • An explanation may have helped for those who don't understand what you did.

Choke on, no gas and kick over just past top dead centre and away you go.

  • nice bike you got dude, keep on rocking

  • What a bike, I miss mine!! That's cool dude

  • thanks its a lovely bike im gonna keep it forever!
