at 7:00, why were all the cops looking at him serious??did they know em, did they really thought he was up to no good, or is that just random scene???
@qwame100 its acting, dude, the art of lying and making up a story that is so f*cking convincing that Joe Cabot HAS to let im in the group, the story was Tim Roth's ticket to his mission
Can you believe that Tim Roth is British? He sounds American to me! He worked on his accent to a T for this movie, since he sounds very British otherwise.
Absolutely brilliant screenwriting, and Tarantino is the BOMB! Tim Roth is a sexy beast! I like the part where he's telling the story to himself and slips up by saying his name then corrects himself. It's just like real life, which is why Tarantino is so different. You could be completely enthralled in the movie without ever realizing the characters are talking about stuff you or I would in a normal conversation. This and Pulp Fiction, man. Best. Movies. Ever.
THIS IS CLASSIC CINEMA..A MASTERPIECE OF A FILM simply because everybody gets the subtle stokes of genius layered throughout...alexdau9 i feel u bout those cops i thought only i noticed most of my freinds who saw it didnt catch that.
I love the way the story he tells has flaws. It helps to define his character as a cop and not a criminal. It also shows the flaws in the criminals who fall for the story.
Also the part where he is telling the story while standing in the flashback is brilliant.
I love this scene. Writing is brilliant. Its one of those thing where as soon as you see it you wonder why no ones ever done it before. Perfect. He's so sexy, btw, Tim Roth. Hehe
I love how the cops seem to have this vacant expression, b/c they arent really there, they're just like, props for the story, you know? they act kind of fake when they stare at him. It's a great touch, shows they only exist for this one story, you know?
instead of "av uoder", doesnt' he? But I'm Italian so I can't be sure; I'm studying British English and American English, so I'll be glad if you could tell me if I'm guessing right. Thanks...!

tim roth slips into his own british accent for a split second, when he says 'bucket of water' if you listen you can hear his voice change.

brilliant, the whole sequance is in his imaginaton, but even then you see the anxiety.
When he's drying his hands and he imagines every cop is watching him, just like you would.
Supreme example of the film makers art, supreme.
