  • this guy is brilliant but john gary has more range, i rate the 2 of them

    the best,

  • No, No, I had the crush on him. Oh, Lord, do I love his voice and sleepy eyes.

    sigh)

  • I remember this when I was a kid. Yup I had a crush on him too!!

    I still do!!

  • He is a natural born singer. I used to listen to his records when growing up. Thank my mother for having introduced me to a great singer.

  • Cooler than the other side of the pillow...

  • This type of music presentation is hard to find nowadays...This is pure singing talent with great lyrics. Now, singers or songs are marketed with people on drugs, guns, death, weirdness, pornography, stupidity...The more evil, stupid, weird, and porno the artists portray themselves, the more they sell...WHAT A MESS...

  • No wonder Sinatra and Garland were in awe of him, Sinatra apparently would have loved him in the "Rat Pack" but Jack did not want any part of it, thank goodness. Tony Bennett is one of his best friends !

  • I said to a friend recently with all due respect Buble and Connick , just like another post here , eat your hearts out . This guy was and still is a great singer. My Dad introduced his singing to me as a youngster and his smooth efortless voice has sold me ever since

  • Oh the memories - was the greatest then and is still fantastic. So glad he is still performing. Thank you for posting this video

  • Fantastic!

  • Although I was never a fan, I can appreciate that the man had talent, charm and charisma. He was a gorgeous man. The singers of his generation were class acts.

  • Great swinging jazz chops backed by wonderful vocal fundamentals. A wonderful mix of classical free, clear sound mixed with great musicality...and those great Welsh/American looks!

  • Just outstanding! Thanks for posting. He sings so beautifully!

  • Its the same for me, my Dad always loved Jack Jones and I used to hear him play his LPs over and ove,r and I was sold on him ever since. With great respect to Buble and Connick eat your hearts out. Smooth stylish singer.

  • he's so handsome!!!! good looks and good voice wrapped into one.

  • Great!

  • Great singer!

  • Love JJ & he is singing great in this clip!

  • I used to listen to my father playing Jacks songs as a kid and was hooked ever since. I thought if I ever could sing I wanted my voice to be just like his. Smooth cool voice and an all time great.

  • A really great singer- I always loved his voice-and this song, Just Yesterday, is so awesome!

  • So awsome! Thx for posting! "More" is usually done as a ballad until Bobby Darin swung it in Dec of 1964, setting the stage for JJ in a more, IMHO sophistiated uptemo version. "Just Yesterday" was the B-Side of Matt Monro's "Yesterday," the first single of the song (which JJ also had a hit with), done just the year before, but again, JJ does a different arrangement than usual, here being more complex. Great stuff, and so clear of the mastery JJ does with any song, old or new

  • Anyone know where and if I can find footage of Jack singing Feeling good?

  • The finest singer ever!

  • can we please bring back the dignity and elegance in today's entertainment? jack jones what a class act!

  • what a sweet and romantic voice, luv ya, JJ. !!

  • "Yeesterday" ? must be a Yiddish song...

  • Class never goes out of style. It may seem to be ignored by the masses, but true talent, good vocal technique, and great taste will prevail. No wonder the greats like Tony Bennett, Judy Garland, and Frank Sinatra loved Jack Jones. A wonderful singer. silviasweetnote

  • OMG.... another version of 'Just Yesterday'...... from Handsome !

    ( Is it Christmas today ? )

    2:55 -- Gorgeous. Eye candy.

  • Saw Jack a week ago in Louisville at the Palace. He still gets standing ovations, and can still sing with the best of them. Also,Jack looks ageless. What a talent !

  • Easily my favorite version of MORE ever recorded. Jack's voice is just perfect as is the great backing music. What a great vocal delivery from Jack on this song. JUST YESTERDAY is a new song for me which has now become a new classic song for me. Jack just has that way with his vocals. For sure, Jack Jones is my favorite singer and he shows why on these 2 songs.

  • great vocal production as well as voice

  • The best voice ever!

  • Is that a blonde Joan Crawford as the host at the end? Was "Just Yesterday" on one of Jack's '60's albums? If so, which one?

  • that WAS Joan Crawford.

"Just Yesterday" was featured on Jack's album "For the 'In' Crowd," released in early 1966.

  • SUPERB!

  • Also Brilliant!! Alex...Glad you are begining to take note of the great vocalist Jack Jones..Sinatra & Bennett's favourite Pop/Jazz singer of the 60's Fact!!..Marc Jones...U.S.A.

  • Marc, are you and Jack related? Seriously, I remember Frank saying good things about Jack around the time of his 50th birthday. He said Jack should be careful about doing those Ford commercials. There's a cool Galaxie convertible on the cover of one of his CDs that I have.

  • Thank you for the most entertainment in song I've had in a long time.

Not only a great singer, but a great arrangement!

    Thanks again,

    Owen

  • Jack Jones is The Singers ,Singer!! The Best!!....Marc Jones-Vocalist..Los Angeles,U.S.A.

  • No, one of the greatest SINGERS of all time, PERIOD!

  • The greatest lounge singer of all-time!
