Big Si was put down because she had Tuberclosis, and it would have infected all the other Meerkats, aswell as the livestock in the area. And Hannibal died in his sleep in one winter.

I was sad that Rocket dog died but I find it funny that she was KILLED BY A CAR... as opposed to the deaths of all the other Meerkats, who, with the exception of Big Si, all died of natural deaths.
