  • why not just wait and see if she lays an eggs?

  • Yes, this is what the females do! Gathering materials for a nest! Pretty bird!

  • @megangatita Thanks! But she dun seem to be able to hold the material in her feathers well. By the way, she's a handicapped bird with one leg and a stump ;) Oh, and she regurgitate on her sleeping tent till it stinks! Any idea to solve it?

  • How many lovebirds do you have? Why does she just have one leg? :( Regurgitating her food is normal, I guess you could just wash and dry the tent every week or so! :) Take care of this sweet handicaped bird! take care! :)

  • @megangatita She was a rescued bird. Breeder didn't want her since she's handicapped. Heard that nasty things may happen so i adopted it from the rescuer. I have two lovebirds. The other one dun regurgitate like her. I think he is a male. And also, Fruity does brush her butt against the sleeping tent like how Twinkle (my supposingly male lovie) do that on my hair! lol. Tot male n female birds aren't supposed to do it the same way?

  • that is so wonderful to hear, that you adopted this poor bird! So good of you to do that! Nice birds! :)

  • @megangatita By the way, they dun live in same cage and i dun intend to breed in anyway. Besides, Twinkle has bonded with my green cheek conure

  • that's good! I am not a breeder either! my birds are just my pets! :)
