  • Am i able to use a 3.5 mm crochet hook with the same turn out?

  • what are some other christmas ideas do you have with pipe cleaners?

  • What weight gram of yarn do you use for crocheting the candy cane? E-mail me back at

    Karinsplace1@aol.com

  • @audioadrenaline1 I used 4 ply yarn with this project. A skein of yarn with approximately 300 meters will make a lot of candy canes.

  • @tjw1963 will the 300 meters of yarn make enough for 40 candy canes? I am using your pattern for two classroom Christmas parties. Thanks for posting this video. :)

  • what kind of pipecleaners do you use? can i use dollar store ones theyre sortof cheap and easy to bend. How long does this project take to finish? i wanna give these to my friends and teachers for christmas.

  • @laffytaffylalala The cheap pipe cleaner's used to actually clean a pipe are the best. This project could be completed in 30 minutes or so.

  • do u have a video of how to make a christmas tree blanket

  • I made a "truck-load" of these year before last and had SO much fun handing them out at church for Christmas!

  • This is very helpful. I can't wait to give it to my mom!! THX :)

  • I noticed you put all your tails at one end then said you might need to attach yarn to tie ends together. Why not just twist them with opposite ends together so at least one tail is on each end then no need for attaching yarn for couple of stitches. This is so cute and so easy! Definitely adding to my collection. This year I'm making a bunch of different decorations for my son as it's his first Christmas in his own apartment with his own tree. Thanks so much for sharing all of your many talents.

  • @nckrystalblue You can flip the segments around so there is a tail at each end.

  • Could I stick a pen in there after I shape it.....would that work?

  • @livgrl321 You would have a straight part but the curved part would be floppy. If you looks good for you then you can use the pen.

  • I am applying to join a craft fair for early december and most my stuff are gifts for christmas but not christmas themed, this is just what I needed to put at my table to sell for decorations, thanks again theresa for a great idea! you're absolutely amazing with yarn! I think I will be making some earrings as well, they seem time consuming but worth it!

  • that is cool!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i am going to go and make some now. Thanks for sharing your creations with us!

  • wow, sooo cute and easy. thank you.

i wanna make some, right now.

  • I made these for a bunch of my family members and they absolutely loved them, thank you so much :D

  • @grandslamSt You are welcome.

  • Thanks I made them and my tree looks beautiful <3

  • You are absolutely amazing<3

  • @KristiKay17 Thank you.

  • Very cute!

  • When doing your chain in the beginning, do you count the slip stitch as your first chain? I see some people count it and others don't. Thanks!!

  • @sbrisby25 I never count the slip knot as a stitch.

  • @tjw1963 i have never crocheted anything.. how to i get started?

  • Can I shorten the chains for a shortier pipecleanier or will it not work?

  • @CrochetingFreak55 It will work for shorter pipe cleaners. You can twist your sections tighter to make them narrower around the pipe cleaner when it is shorter.

  • Excellent this looks easy enough for even me to do and yet so impressive. Thanks.

  • @SuzanneBa You are welcome!

  • this looks so easy

  • Thank you for all the time and effort that goes into your vids. This one reminded me how much time for editing, as well as research, and the project recording time, and the materials, etc etc etc. Good job!

  • @eugenemyst I appreciate the comment, thank you.

  • Again great project

Hint hint I'm still waiting to see a variation on the towel toppers and toilet paper covers. They would be great gifts. I have found a lot of pretty ones BUT I can't read a pattern.

I've already made your single crochet one and a double crochet but I would love one that has a different stitch. :'''o(

    Thanks

  • I love your designs and I think you are such a good teacher! Ive been inspired to make things Ive never done before and have always been very happy with the results. Keep up the good work and many thanks. Pat x

  • @tjw1963 cn u plz send it 2 me 2??

  • @bubznumber1 The playlist is on the way. Let me know if you do not get it.

  • @Maryc1977 I appreciate the comment, thank you!

  • I love this project! I'm a newbie to crochet & this is a great way for me to practice my basic stiches while making something cute for the holidays! I think your tutorials are really great - I can see exactly what you are doing & your explanations are easy to understand. Thank you :)

  • I love all your videos, they are so much help and i've learned so much from you. I'm a brand new to crocheting and i'm loving it. The only issue i'm having right now is that my hands are starting to hurt. I know i have to force myself to stop and take more brakes. but i was wondering, where do you buy those pretty hook cushions that you have. I'd love to get some. thanks

  • @ladymend The grips are pencil grips that can be purchased from Wal-mart or Office Max. Something else I will suggest is to loosen the grip on the crochet hook and the yarn. This will help alleviate some of the strain.

  • sorry,to begin,30 chains white and 30 chains red?thx

  • @lushmania no it's 50

  • These are great! I've just made one from Double Knit yarn (UK) and it was a bit short with a 50 foundation chain so I'm going to try 70 next time... - thanks for the video :o)

  • @33moggy The 70 foundation for DK worked! :o)

  • Aww thats lovey :)

  • wow you are very quick!

  • So nice! Thanks!

  • Have you had any experience with arteritis or carpal tunnel? I twist my wrist a lot when I crochet and my wrist starts hurting.

  • @Principalies If I am working on something for several hours, I may experience some pain from time to time.

  • That's really cute! Thanks for the tutorial and Happy Holidays!

  • Thank you :)

  • @cesar38487 What looks wrong?

  • This is fantastic :) Really makes me think of a lot of ideas to expand on this! Thank you for sharing!

  • @j5c1 The curly cue alone may embellish a lot of projects.

  • Great idea...how long is the candy cane once it's finished?

  • @pinkpeony06 About 7 inches. I can never find a tape measure when I need one so I am estimating.
