  • im confused 4 and 5 has gcd of 1 and 1 divides 3,, so i thought the solution is only 1 and that is x= 2.... am i getting it wrong .. ? thanks

  • Doesn't really help for problems such as;

    17x - 5 = 0 (mod 211)

  • I am still confused as to how you choose the modulo because if you have a-b=10 would the modulo be 10 or 5 or 2? I don't understand how you choose which one

  • @JPnumber1 Typically for these problems, the modulus is given. So, you shouldn't have to actually pick one. Answers that you get will depend on the modulus.

  • thanks a million

  • Thanks! That was easy to follow. It would be better without the background music though.

  • This is so cool. I like the way he presented the solution. it's Student friendly

  • what about congruences with bigger moduli? Is there any way to make it easier?

  • cheers mate. i like your teaching style

  • x = 5k + 2, where k is any non-negative integer.

    Some professors ask for the equation.

  • thank you
