Residential areas are fine for lemonade stands, with tall curbs and 30 mph speed limit. This was a very busy intersection....put a sign at the busy intersection with an arrow pointing to your street.
She probably ran out of lemonade and the cop arrived thirsty and when he was told that he'd have to wait for the next batch, he decided to shut down the stand in anger. Dick.

@MrAntiamerica did you not watch the video. They even state that the intersection was dangerous and they didn't want her there. But it was completely acceptable if she did it in her own yard. Tough if she can't sell as much there that isn't our problem. You can't just go into someone else s property because yours doesn't have enough "traffic". The parents here are more worried about a trip to Disney world then their own child's safety that is pathetic

Permits are a form of government control and a denial of freedom; both which violate the US Constitution! the Constitution doesn't specifically give the government the authority to regulate individuals in this manner thus the government doesn't have the authority!
What we earn or how we earn it is NOT the government's business; PERIOD. I earn money on the side using my brains and back and you pro-government-control (i.e. Communists) meddlers and go jump off a bridge!
