It has a very very small amount of similarities with Raise your Voice. Just because they both involve singing and losing yourself doesn't mean it's a reject copy XD

This movie was very good. Liked how they didn't "bubblegum" the story, even though they could have. Also, this movie didn't get too "out there" either, although it could have gone their, too. This was just a perfect prodigal daughter movie. And, although I spent $7.50 (matinee price) to see it, felt it was worth it, and, wanted Gener8Xion Entertainment to get there money for this, they deserved it:)

i'm just stating the obvious that letoya is very talented. She can sing and act very well. Her performance in preachers kid blow me away, especially being her first movie. I think that letoya was a threat to beyonce, and that's why they kicked her out the group. .

This movie was very good. Liked how they didn't "bubblegum" the story, even though they could have. Also, this movie didn't get too "out there" either, although it could have gone their, too. This was just a perfect prodigal daughter movie. And, although I spent $7.50 (matinee price) to see it, felt it was worth it, and, wanted Gener8Xion Entertainment to get there money for this, they deserved it:)
