One of the few bad things about the PS3 version is the fact that Wrex and a few other characters are declared dead if you start from scratch. Theres a mini-game that allows you see the first Mass Effect in comic format and transfer the decisions to Mass Effect 2 but I would rather play the first Mass Effect myself. Weather it means building a gaming machine or borrowing a 360.

@DirkXXVI All versions are like this. Unless you import a save game on the X360 or the PC versions, Wrex will be dead, Zhu's Hope will have been destroyed, the Council killed, and a whole lot of other shit. A "fresh" PT is the same on every version. If you want things to have played out differently, you have to import a ME1 save file (X360/PC) or play the comic (PS3.)

With the release of the PS3 version they're also releasing a downloadable free virtual comic for all systems that will play at the start of a new ME2 game and allow you to pick what you want your critical ME1 story carryovers to be, with or without a save. Wrex being alive is one of those choices. This is mostly because PS3 isn't getting ME1 but it also allows PC or 360 players to get different outcomes without needing to play the entire first game again.
