Anyone else notice a correlation between the ref not giving Ronaldo a free-kick every time he dives and Utd losing? Get a ref not on the Utd payroll, they lose. You see stuff in commentaries like, "but the ref waves it away/isn't interested/tells him to get up". The key to utd's success over the last 15 years has been bent refs. Give 'em a straight one and they lose every time; Europe, OT, regardless of tactics or players. The ref is the deciding factor in most utd fixtures.
