I am a licensed airplane mechanic. I was noticing that whoever was pulling on it, most of the time, just yanked on the cord. You really should pull gently until you feel the teeth grab the flywheel, then go ahead and yank. You'll save a ton of wear and tear on those teeth.

ive worked on alot of mowers and snowblowers,and have never had a problem with honda motors. ive seen alot of burnt valves on tecumseh and some on briggs, and tecumseh gaskets on there carbs, are shit the gas eats them. and u cant use silocon cuz gas eats that.
