Does anyone know if there will be female vocals on the new album? If there are, I'm assuming that Doris will do them, as she has live and on pandemonium I believe. It will be a shame if there are none - that beautiful combination of the Hena, Keyboards and female vocals, which often play simultaneously, is part of what makes them unique.

Really? Oh, that's a shame. What was all this about Doris being the backing vocalist then? Will it always be just in live shows, are are they just taking a break from them on the new album? i really hope they don't abandon them on all future material - that would be a great shame. Another point is that many of the lyrics on seediq bale sung in their native tongue are female vocals - I hope they are not singing completely in English also.

lol well this album is totally in english lol... all the name of the songs are in english... i can't tell cause i don't really understand listening to them.. i have to read the lyrics and see lol... but there's no lyric at the moment cause.. the album is not out yet lol... but in my opinion cause i already listened to it.. this album is good... but is not like seediq bale.. its totally different... its more raw and faster .. rise of the shadows and forty nine the orgy are my favorites..

for those of you who dont know Su-Nung was the erhu (two string violin) player.

he left to pursue his own career path.

so I'm not sure who's gonna be playing the instrument in their live shows.. cuz it was used in the album.

So far Freddy is handling the Erhu duty, but they did find a new Erhu player and will announce to the public soon.

Thanks for the information. I have been wondering about that, and I have not actually seen a news article about Su-Nung - has he actually left yet? Hopefully his solo project will be easy to get hold of here in the West - I look forward to hearing a solo Hena career, assuming that's what he intends to do.

Su Nung will not be pursuing careers in music, instead, he will be involved in the hi-tech industry. He just recently received PhD in electrical engineering (or computer science). So don't let that gothic hena getup fool you, this guy can build a space shuttle!
