While this isn't a fully body workout, it does take quite a bit of hand eye coordination and speed, and I'd imagine also muscle memory. It also promotes ambidexterity. Speed stacking has the same energy expenditure of light to moderate weight lifting, volleyball or walking. I highly doubt active physical activity of any type helps promote obesity.
