another reason you see alot of shift lights in cars is due to the fact that some cars that have high numbers of hp, and their tachometers dont read the rpm as accurate as they did when the motor was stock. and its just something that comes on an aftermarket tachometer.... one of my friends has one on his 500+ hp hatch

naw I got a 96 ek hatch and my srs light is on too. has been since I bought it. think it comes on at a certain mileage for "scheduled mantainance" so honda can charge you $300 to plug in the obd2 port and shut the light off lol.
