This was a treat to find this here on YT ! We have many springs here in the Rothaar mountains of Germany and are so grateful to live near some very special healing wells that have been sadly forgotten about by the locals. Drinking the water collected from the source has changed our lives .........just wish others would connect to the earth as one should be . My 7 year old son is in awe watching your video and thinks you look lie tarzan !! Peace and light to you....thank you !
This place is like something from a dream, all those little clearings and pools, getting colder and cleaner as you ascend. I could easily build a religion around water. I think the sensation of thirst, and the quenching of it is one of the most sublime, life-affirming sensations the human nervous system can experience.
I imagine a hot July afternoon, trekking up and up that canyon, the sun beating down, and every now and then, rounding a corner and finding a cold, clear pool and submerging myself in it, feeling the cool water wick away the heat radiating from my back and neck and inhaling gulp after gulp of icey, clear spring water, then emerging from the pool and collapsing in the shade of a boulder on the damp, clammy stone floor, the fresh scent of wet stone and damp moss filling my head,
half way through the video I realized I had a huge smile on my face... but then I realized I wasn't actually there :((..... haha... so jealous! I wish I could be there.....

But, moved away for most of my life, and only recently returned....and am so grateful to be here. Magicland!!! Great place to train man...at least in S. Utah. About a hour north of here the altitude increases immensely..and gets quite colder. This S. Utah area is not only special in geologic formations and spring water...but the plant life is off the hook!!!!!
Ok I'm exhausted from watching you do this. Whoever films you is doing a totally fantastic job! The camera aim, focus and shots are beautiful. The plant life is far more profuse than I ever imagined. Also you run like a damn mountain goat. Seriously, a mountain goat.
btw it's pretty obvious by the look in your eyes and smile that you're exactly where you want to be in this moment Jake. That's as cool as it gets as far as I'm concerned. :)

Dude. Barefoot. Spring Water. Beautiful Utah. Sweet. You lived near this area your whole life?
I'm from La Crescenta, CA. Not as many natural oases here to cleanse, or train.
I'm taking an academic year off from USC, and I find myself spending most of my time in Parks, pools, the Ocean when I can.
I seriously feel l don't belong here in La Crescenta, CA- the way I spend my time does not feel sustainable.
I'm looking for places to Cleanse/Train.
