I liked the cartoons that truly captures you into the story. This is one of those. It has dynamic tale and unbelievably supercharged atmosphere, it seems like it is trying to say to you it is actually real, it is not the cartoon. I don't understand really why they decided to re do this fantastic piece of animation that already existed. I haven't seen this yet because it just looks to action figure like I guess. I really liked the one they put out in 2003 by the Samurai Jack crew. It was so wickedly good and dark and gritty. The sound direction was amazing and from what I have been reading in comments, I guess Grievios is a pussy in the new one? He was feared by all the jedi. So why is he a pussy? Original series FTW!

I guess Lucas knows best, but I thought jedi's weren't allowed to have padawan apprentices until they were a master jedi, and Anakin Skywalker never became a Master Jedi because the counsel didn't trust him. So how come he get's an apprentice in clone wars, which takes place in between attack of the clones and revenge of the sith. He didn't have an apprentice in Revenge of the sith, because he was still a padawan. So I'm not able to figure this out. I might be wrong.
Anyways, I think it's great that George Lucas adds more to the saga, but I think it would have been great if they made a movie that took place after 'The return of the Jedi'. It's so much to add on. Does Luke get a padawan apprentice? Does Han Solo and Princess Leia get a kid? Maybe there is a new threat (probably would be, if they were to make a sequel:P). It's just a thought.

So, now he can have a padawan because he is a Jedi Knight, remember ep1 when Obi-WAn was promoted to Jedi Knight? He got Anakin as his padawan, so Anakin can have his own padawan. But I agree, she must die in the end of the seires, because she doenst apear in ep3.

Actually,the clone wars of this series are all before chapter 22 Star Wars Clone Wars(2005),as Anakin's hairstyle already change and general grievous reveal himself at chapter 21,I think.....

As a die-hard, I agree. But as a marketing guru, I side with Lucas. This movie wasn't even advertised very well to adults. It's all about creating demand for clone wars toys, co-branding with foods (like cereal boxes), tooth brushes, blankets, legos, party decorations, anything that kids like that can be themed, etc. etc. It also jump-started his TV series advertising revenue. This movie also generating traffic to the star wars website for other cross-selling. And, I like this Anakin better.

I don't understand really why they decided to re do this fantastic piece of animation that already existed. I haven't seen this yet because it just looks to action figure like I guess. I really liked the one they put out in 2003 by the Samurai Jack crew. It was so wickedly good and dark and gritty. The sound direction was amazing and from what I have been reading in comments, I guess Grievios is a pussy in the new one? He was feared by all the jedi. So why is he a pussy? Original series FTW!

I guess Lucas knows best, but I thought jedi's weren't allowed to have padawan apprentices until they were a master jedi, and Anakin Skywalker never became a Master Jedi because the counsel didn't trust him. So how come he get's an apprentice in clone wars, which takes place in between attack of the clones and revenge of the sith. He didn't have an apprentice in Revenge of the sith, because he was still a padawan. So I'm not able to figure this out. I might be wrong.

Anyways, I think it's great that George Lucas adds more to the saga, but I think it would have been great if they made a movie that took place after 'The return of the Jedi'. It's so much to add on. Does Luke get a padawan apprentice? Does Han Solo and Princess Leia get a kid? Maybe there is a new threat (probably would be, if they were to make a sequel:P). It's just a thought.

@sirikalvik In the old clone wars series, Anakin is promoted to Jedi Knight by the Jedi Council. So, now he can have a padawan because he is a Jedi Knight, remember ep1 when Obi-WAn was promoted to Jedi Knight? He got Anakin as his padawan, so Anakin can have his own padawan. But I agree, she must die in the end of the seires, because she doenst apear in ep3.

Actually,the clone wars of this series are all before chapter 22 Star Wars Clone Wars(2005),as Anakin's hairstyle already change and general grievous reveal himself at chapter 21,I think.....

Question: Why does Anakin have a Padawan when he's not even a Master? I mean, in Episode 3 the council even says ''You are on the council but we do not grant you the rank of 'Master''and then Anakin is like ''What?''
So he's not even a Master. It doesn't make sense

@4getfulness16 You don't have to have the rank of Master to be a Master. If you're a knight (Which Anakin became between Episode II and The Clone Wars) you can have a padawan. The rank "Master" and having a padawan that calls you "Master" are two different things.

As a die-hard, I agree. But as a marketing guru, I side with Lucas. This movie wasn't even advertised very well to adults. It's all about creating demand for clone wars toys, co-branding with foods (like cereal boxes), tooth brushes, blankets, legos, party decorations, anything that kids like that can be themed, etc. etc. It also jump-started his TV series advertising revenue. This movie also generating traffic to the star wars website for other cross-selling. And, I like this Anakin better.
