  • mexican money is like that too and they did it years ago

  • March 2012 saskatchewan is getting 5's,10's,20's,50's,100's plastice bills i think, i read it in my bank

  • Money is printed from nothing. And we have to pay back these private centralized banks back the money we borrowed + interest.

  • Hong Kong had plastic money in like 2007.

  • also the 100 dollar bill smells like maple syrup on the clear part of the new bill

  • 2 shit tickets going for half a tenth a gram of silver going once, twice, sold!

  • I am furious about this new "money" What was wrong with the old money?!?!?!?

And what's with all these horseless carriages on the roads? Don't they know that if you go faster than 30mph your insides will turn to jelly?! I blame it all on the steam engine.

And those damned Wright Brothers - if God had meant for us to fly... (grumble grumble bitch bitch)

  • by the way if you scratch the maple leaf, it will smell like maple :D

  • These new frigging things are so slippery, it's unbelievable !

When shopping, or anywhere for that matter, walk looking at the ground the chances of someone loosing one or more of these slippery little critters must be astronomical.

We may be able to give up our day jobs and just trail around malls looking to pick up this slippery play money that got away on someone !

    I'm from Canada and I'm not impressed ! ! !

  • ive actually held one no kidding and im in canada and we have paper money and also the new 100 dollar bill

  • ROCK MONEY

  • Its my second week in Canada, and upon counting my money after a work day. I freaked out!! Because I had on gloves when I took in the money originally. In the US we still have paper.

  • I don't really like the new design. The graphic design of the new bills is similar to the current design, but slightly inferior. I really love the current design, and they current design has only been around for about a decade.

  • this is good for the environment in the fact we wouldn't need as much pulp for paper but it is also bad for it because we need to create more crude oil for plastic :( comment on your thoughts of this.

  • Canada Edmonton

  • Canada and i guess we got plastic.... and i hate the feel it doesn't even feel like money.

  • we have rock money here in 3000 BC

  • Also, they did this because Canadian currency was the most counterfeited of the G20 countries and businesses were no longer accepting $100 bills. It's really difficult to counterfeit polymer notes, especially the clear bit.

  • They don't cost 19 cents more, they cost 19 cents. The previous notes cost 9 cents.

  • i live in canada and apparently its plastic now?

  • Canada FTW. Now that way I'm pretty sure nobody can somewhat make a fake 100 dollar bill.

  • Canadian. Plastic money is awesome.

  • Exactly like in Vietnam. Cool.

  • I live in the UK. We have paper money. There would be protests if we made our money out of such environmentally unfriendly material

  • @Msceridwen66uk It's better to use the plastic as it can be recycled, paper money can only go through so much.

  • @Msceridwen66uk The thing is no-one is going to throw away a hundred dollars so its a better use for plastic than cups and stuff like that. Also its not all plastic some of it is a fiber.

  • hi

  • The reason why we are switching over to Plastic over paper, is all because of Organized crime, the elite of our society dont like when criminals print counterfeit cash because it "tarnishes the economy" truth be told, its fucking up their game, when they print money its call dipping into a surplus or whatever the case maybe, but when you do it its illegal. it costs money to make money? so who to they owe for printing all these new notes? the federal reserve? world Bank? its a monoply.

  • i got 3 of those new bills, they are so thin and feel they will last longer, but i mad it will cost a shit load for fakes

  • I live in Canada. <3 Canada. And same as you. Plastic and paper.. :)

  • I never saw plastic money and I live in Canada. Well I never saw a Canadian 100 Dollar Bill :P I got a 50 dollar bill though, i don't think it was plastic.

  • @DecepticonTroops the new 100$ bills are still very new and a lot of people don't have one im sure if you go to the bank and pull out some money or cash in a chek or whatever you need to do im sure they will give you a new 100$ bill

  • @georgopot Okay, thanks for the information.

  • they do burn 1000 times faster D:

  • got on for my birthday tried to make a rip in it because thay say u cant rip it THEY ARE RIGHT

  • So you paid 119$ for a 100$ bill?

  • @punk2003 19 cents more lol

  • @punk2003

    No its 100$

    Its same

  • @punk2003 ur an idiot

  • @punk2003 he said cents 19 cents

  • i like the feel of old $100 bill. It feels like money.. New $100 feels like monopoly money

  • I live in BC and we don't have any plastic money yet

  • @Jasmine22777 yes we do... :S

  • There not making the plastic bills any more, They melt in the dryer

  • @MrBuuchi Choose the right one of the following. There, They're, or Their.

  • ...cool....we went from gold and silver...to a piece of paper...now a piece of synthetic plastic...lol were so screwed...Canada is a corporation not a country. We print money out of thin air....with no backing....

  • I love the new $100 bill. No problem using it at ANY stores. Anyone who DOES have a problem is either a liar or lives in a village full of idiots.

No more worrying about jumping into a pool/falling into a creek with my wallet in my pocket!

  • When I cashed my paycheck a few months ago the banker asked if I wanted hundreds or fifties or twenties like usual. I took some of each like I always do. Anyway I went shopping that same day and tried to use the 100 dollar bill. They said its illegal tender and they would not take it. I then went to about 8 other stores and tried to use the bill... All of them refused. So back to the bank to get 5 20's... Fucking bullshit... I never use 100's ever because they never take them!

  • @PianoXfan1 Btw the 100 was the new plastic kind. They said they never saw a bill like that and its a fake... I then told the cashiers that they are uneducated and need to turn the news on or read the newspaper for once in their lives. Anyway I tried this again a few weeks ago and once again nobody took the money. This new plastic bullshit is simply a waste. Nobody takes em. They never took the paper 100 and now they still wont take the plastic 100.

  • I like the old one more

  • australia was the first contry to introduse plastic bils and regular bills ar not paper it actuali a mixt of coton and paper + the litel red and blue fiber for securyty

  • im from sri lanka and i live in uk

in sri lanka there is RS200 is plastic rest paper

in uk i never seen plastic its still paper

  • @yiuteub though i kinda agree its much more difficult to use gold on a daily basis since you cant liquify a part but must sell entire bars or coins at once. its fine for a long term however provided you pay to have it ensured and secures. also if the world faces financial colapse, the gold will be no more helpfull than those scraps of paper. instead tools and essentials will have a greater value.

  • How about we move to metal money. It lasts hundreds of years and actually has value.

  • @xchris109x Becuase it's really expensive to make, and heavy to carry around.

  • Canada. I still have paper money. I haven't physically seen any of the plastic money yet.

  • I like the new "plastic" money! It floats in the pool and drys off easier :D

  • The plasic is worth just that.....plastic. Im a fan of real money AKA gold and silver. Fiat is shit!

  • @YiuTeub why do u think that gold and silver are real money?

  • @uchihasurvival Each metal has and holds value. The plastic $100 bill isn't worth 100 dollars. It's worth a few cents, and is only a promise. When the dollar collapses, and it will. Money will be worthless. Those metals will still have their value.

  • @xXTedKnowsXx thank you for explaining!

  • @uchihasurvival Absolutely, and trust me. Trade some of your money for precious metals. You can buy it right from your bank.

  • @xXTedKnowsXx i have about 200$ in gold and silver. im now collecting copper pennies since i get copper very cheap.

  • @uchihasurvival I think pennies were only pure copper up til 1967, that`s when they decided to add the zinc. It`s easy to extract though. Good start with your silver and gold! I have a slight bit more than that, but I have been collecting for almost 12 yrs.

  • @xXTedKnowsXx make sure you have that precious metal in your own hands tho not in the bank.

  • @uchihasurvival It has been used through history as something as value. I think because the average man cannot just print it. It never corrodes or rusts and will be here forever.

Survivalists ask me that. I prep but I believe metals are a great way to preserve wealth.

Gold is not worth more today than it was 100 years ago. It is that money is worth less.

  • I'm from Canada, I find that they are very slippery when they are stacked or pressed together, the inside bills could easily pop out or fly out...

That's the only flaw I could find about them... perhaps as they 'age' they get a little more 'sticky'

  • "and they cost 19 cents more than the previous 100 dollar bill" Fiscally irresponsible. Fuckin' scam.

  • @tothboy01 they cost more to make but they last longer and are more durable than the older ones. therefor less replacement money is being printed. equals- fiscally responsible and not just for shits and giggles.

  • @61three, maybe you have a point here.

  • How about you just research it yourself..

  • money doesnt value anything. Our system is rigged

  • the economy will collapse,so you can keep it to make a fire.

  • does it get fold marks?

  • Australia, we have had plastic money for around 16 years.

  • i like the old one better :/

  • what i like about these Polymer 100 bills is that you cannot tear it up like paper money no more ripping money to pieces :)

  • im canadian, i have never seen plastic! 0_o my mom has gotton new $100 and they are paper... maybe its just my city... no one here new that

  • @EpicSoulChick we don't send the new $100's to city's that use the word "gotton"

  • @freakyflow Sorry Im in frickin 7th grade and everyone there says it, stfu

  • @EpicSoulChick good everyone says stay the fuck off youtube and learn english

  • @freakyflow Im staying on youtube. and I know english. but in my generation (with all the kids in my class, at my school) we do change spelling, and shorten words, cool is now Kewl.

  • @EpicSoulChick You don't know english. You know slang which anyone can learn off a street corner and use working at Burger king In which case they pay $8hr Maybe why your "Kewl words" haven't come across a $100 bill

  • @freakyflow I dont use slang words in person. i just type them.......burger kind is gross, gave both my parents food poisoning for 2 weeks. And I saw a $100 bill today, at Wal Mart.

  • I'm Canadian. I work at the grocery store and find the new 100's annoying as heck. They get stuck together easily. An old man came in to get groceries and accidentally gave 300$ instead of 100$, obviously i gave the extra 200$ back but you just have to be careful with them!

  • i have ice money.

  • true fact it smells like maple if u scratch er!

  • what happens if u put it in the microwave?!

  • plastic**

  • canada plasic!

  • canada and plastic ^_^

  • Australia Was the very first to start.

  • thanks for showing me them ..its been awhile since ive seen a $100 bill :(

  • I live in canada and 90% of my bills are still paper

  • Im Canadian...but I think Australia has had plastic for awhile..not sure about New Zealand

  • that is a worthless junk piece of plastic that has no real value...buy gold and silver people...they are the only real money!

  • @aka03271 Because they only have value because people decide they do. Just like they decide that MONEY has value. Go to a store and buy some food with gold and silver OR go to a pawn shop and trade in some gold or silver for some MONEY. >.>

  • cotton money not paper

  • Nice..

  • Did you know that it's scented with maple?

  • wow 19 cents more to make a hundred dollars , make money out of gold and ill give a shit, or at least silver ,copper nickel anything but garbage steel or plastic its worth notrhing.take a bag of loonies to the metal recycling yard too find out the real value of canadian money

  • Americans are jelly

  • Did you check it for RFID?

  • i wonder if coke will stick to them!?

  • @AmaizingDoucheMaster hey buddy if it does just wash it off lol

  • Rothschilds Zionist Bank State of Canada. We dont have any money. Our economy is owned by the global banking cartel. The Bank of Canada Prints Notes, and sell them (at interest) to the mint, who then enters them into circulation via loans. The same way the Fed Works (Vote Ron Paul.) Harper is a traitor scum of the New World economic Order of things. #NATO War Crimes (Occupy the World, Occupy with Love - the revolution is here too.)

  • @TheCanucksGurl hey i think youre my dream girl, youre right about everything youre talking about,Canada is a joke.So is the goofy america. RON PAUL IS THE MAN

  • I have two of those :D

  • The new 'plastic money" feels weird.

Nice that it costs more to print/cast/mold. ( in Germany I hear).

    Not a fan.

  • The 50$ comes out in March. We'll be fine. This is the least of our worries. They do feel like receipts and they suck for lighting a Monte Cristo but I don't think there's a conspiracy here.

  • hahaha so now when we go into our depression we cant even use the money for kindling like the germans did.

  • As a canadian i think the new bill sucks... Whats next plactic toilet paper .. dam goverment cant just leave things alone.Paper money is the way to go.

  • @cuffs68 We need to save trees. Plus our 100 dollar bill is worth 19 cents more than the original one. We had to change :/

  • @MrNintendo505 Wrong its not worth 19 cents more, it cost tax payers 19 cents more to create...pay attention!

  • Its harder to rip 2

  • I'm in canada and I smelled the bill and it smells good!

  • australia has had plastic money forever, i hate the new bill hard to fold and easy to loose, make sure when u have a pile of them to double chek when u take one out! they like to hang tite together ;)

  • Im in Canada and that looks RETARDED, now how am i suppost to light my fireplace :(

  • this is not good there is a Plasticizer in this bill that makes it flexible and it is a Carcinogen

  • Only the $100 bills have yet been issued, I have had a few now, and they do not feel like money in my pocket. they feel more like receipt paper. That's not going to be very helpful for a blind person after the braille gets flattened from over use.

  • polymer is not plastic. Plastic breaks. Polymer is usually used for doors and what not on a lot of cars. The kind that shopping carts can bounce off of. It's like calling diamond glass dude.

  • Go to a strip club and you can now swipe that plastic part of the bill on the woman's ass

  • canada never seen the new plastic bills heard of them now i know what to expect thanks

  • In 1990, Singapore already issued a polymer $50 bill. By 2004, it had its first circulating $10 banknote, then followed by $2 issue in 2006. The $5 and $20 polymer banknotes were issued in 2007, having fully replaced paper money by that year. It's funny how slow North America is and how secluded they are from the rest of the world. I'm Canadian btw lol

  • Comment removed

  • I live in Canada too, but I have not yet seen the new plastic money. They say the plastic $20 bills are suppost to come in April I think. So I'm looking forward to that.

  • NICE BILL

  • shit this is gunna confuse my pot dealer...

  • @Curt420kush hahaha, i already picked up with a new bill, my dealer though i was fucking with him.

  • it smells like maple syrup

  • In Haiti they have paper money... And they would crucify your entire family for those 2 bills...

  • Material money have to stay, I'm not for a total digital use, it one of the last life privacy we have...

  • my birds have to same green bed :3

  • Plastic also cheaper than paper too.:)

  • What is the difference from one card such as gift card or credit card?

  • This to me, is smart. :) And all big winners of lottery tickets, should never ever show up their faces. haha. Also saw they were robbed by having a lot money too. Take care 100$ new plastic bill--this idea to me, is totally unnecessary and silly. :)

  • I agree with future money must be all digital, you only show them a card. :)This is also better than any value money--made by whatever material, paper, plastic, iron, copper, whatever you guess before we used, or even gold or sliver, for your own security be robbed by having them in cash machine or your valet. :) Saw a news , even a convenience store was attacked by a big truck to crash wall, then take the whole cash register away with coins and money.:) Make it as empty or nothing as we can,

  • Not sure if anyone mentioned this yet - but apparently they are NOT as durable as thought- see story in PlasticNews:

  • He looks like a reptile when you move it

  • i see the 100s all the time thats all we have though right now i think

  • f*ck

    they f*ck up everything here.

  • That's wild man! I gotta get me some of 'em.

  • youtube.com/watch?v=G9IH-XKQpOI&feature=player_embedded#at=29

  • The G20 are laughing at you all.

If you don't understand this, you need to wake up!

  • still dirty fiat currency...

  • The European Union uses BOTH Plastic and Paper Monetary Currency Tenders!!

  • I remember when we changed our money in the late 1980s a Texan came into the restaurant i was working at with quite the attitutude, combative and very aggressive. When he got to my cashier station, he chewed me out because he gave me an american $20 and I had to give him back change. He called me a liar even though I showed him the money in the cash register. he thought it was play money. I had to get a manager and she convinced him it was real.

  • I hate the new bills...They feel cheap and worthless to me

  • BIG fukc up with this bill. Does not work in most bank machines and money counters.

They get stuck together. It's polymer not plastic. I live in Canada and our money is made out of Gold and Silver

  • we have paper money in the usa still i want ares to be plastic

  • paper money and plastic money are frauds.

  • @mastaPh i agree. you guys want to know what real money is? gold and silver. not these fucking bus tokens we call "money". what we have is currency. there's a difference. paper/plastic bills are fine as long as you can trade them in for real gold/silver. how many ounces of silver do your awesome new plastic bills get you?....

  • @1moartime totally agree man

  • I got one of those on christmas.

  • USA -- Paper money. For me personally, plastic money would be difficult to get used to, mostly because I love the paper-canvas feel of fresh bills.

Perhaps they could give the plastic the same texture? That would smooth the transition.

  • holy shit you have 200$ O_O

  • @h8stupidppl AMAZING!!!!

  • @h8stupidppl Seven cases of cheap beer, WOOOOOO!

  • @h8stupidppl Chump change, my friend. Chump change.

  • @h8stupidppl It is Canadian $100.00 bill.... Dude it is nothing to get excited over

  • @JustinJJHCS1

as of feb 6 2012 one USD costs 99 cents Canadian.

  • oooh i have two of those :D

  • I live in Romania and we have polymer money since 1999.The polymer banknotes are more durable and harder to fake.

  • @reymar2 Thats false. Everyone knows there's no money in Romania

  • I live in canada and we have Plastic and paper money (:

  • I live in Calgary, Alberta and i find the new $100 crease in the middle and they do not flatten back. I am not fully sure if I like the new bills. Its also harder to count by hand and banks now have to buy new machines to count the currency and its only the $100 bills made of plastics. The $50 will come soon following after the $20, $10 and $5.

  • im in canada...we dont have paper money or at least ive never seen it and i work at a fast food place...

  • @t1oxETy wtf in canada the five tens twentys and fiftys are paper are u daft

  • @smokingweedevreyday thats what i said...it says canadas plastic money but im yet to see a plastic bill. youd be suprised at how many 100 doller bills stores get

  • im from canada and u holding my money ima come and get it
