@DKTLEMONS Remember in Brisingr how the war lord had the green sword under his control? Well, what about the fact that there just happens to be a green dragon on the cover of Empire (haven't seen a picture, but it does) and the sword is green? Think about it.
that's all there is about it. on a video paolini himself says it's called the inheritance for a reason. for the name of every book he inherits something. im not sure but i dont think he'll inherit the empire. eragon said he wouldnt be king himself and people think it'll be murtagh and others.
where did you hear that? I've been waiting for years for Eldest to come out. At first i heard it was going to come in 2008, but now it's coming out in summer 2010? Is this true?
idk about the year but i think it'll come out during the fall season. at least that's how its been for the first 3 books. august and september 20 something is what i think. just a thought.
it takes this no life 20 year old years to make a book yet takes pendragon dude 1 yr for 2 like 300 pg books and jk rolling 10 for 7 books this guy been on this series for 10 years!!! he is too slow

I honestly think someone will steal the last egg, it will hatch for arya, murtagh will get defeated, and while held captive will be changed, maybe by nasuada's fellings for him, and he will help them, and eragon will find the vault of souls where tons of eldunari are stored in the one mountains where the wild dragons used to mate, and all together will convince galbatorix's eldunari to help them and crush him.
im only half way through eldest too! empire is supposed to be the fourth book where it could have a green cover for the new dragon (possiby arya's)or it could have a black cover for Shruikan.
not nesicarily because he may have finished writing much of both brisinger and empire which became too large so he may still have finished the first half of empire if that is infact the name of the 4th book because i have heard also that empire would become a book describing much of alegasia before eragon and describe in detail what happend to give you a better understanding of events that occur in any of the books.
Christopher Paolini said that he was not going to make another book on the Eragon series after the fourth book, and that after he finished the fourth one he was going to "ponder which of my many ideas to write next" but it won't be in this series.
well see, Christopher Paolini was writing the third book, and it started getting really long, and longer.. and longer, so he finnaly split it into two books, so that i will be a 'cycle' instead of a trilogy. But he already has most of Empire (if that's what it will be called) written, so idk, could be sooner but he will probably still wait just to.. like, build up suspense, and let Brisingr circulate more and be read more before he releases the FINAL ONE! grr can't wait!
i have heard rumors that the book empire will be out by early to mid 2011
