  • For your future reference, Stephen, if you go out of the exit to the right of the stage and on the path through the field 2 campsite, there is a marquee where you can get your batteries recharged. Run by ' Friends of the Earth', I think. one of the friendly stewards will guide you.

  • Seems like you two had a really good time. Nice atmosphere, good music, great people and a lovely scenery.

The Hayseed Dixie song "Deeper in Debt" reminded me of why I subscribed to your videos in the first place: To learn all I can about self-sufficiency, so I can get out of the city and stop "feeling like a gear in a broken machine" :)

Thank you for sharing this dr.

    Regards from Denmark Steffen

  • @berg89dk Thanks. Only an American band could write a song about the debt crisis which complained about personal levels of taxation. the official received sub Marxist analysis which pervades most 'folkie' opinion holds that the problems are all to do with 'rich bankers' , 'evil Tories' etc and nothing to do with our excessive demands for state welfare provision whcih inevitably leads to high income tax and in fact the unrepayable government borrowing the banks went along with. 'We're screwed'

  • seasick steve is brilliant

  • @MadBadVoodo Thanks. Glad to say I heal very well. Although the shapr piece of wood penetrated right into my palm-I could see the fat poking out from below the skin-it has already healed almost perfectly. Hey ho, one more work related scar on my left hand to add to all the others. Should have been wearing my leather gloves.

  • there are no such thing as a smart accidents.lool glad it was not to bad.heal well

  • @cooper68ns I was holding a rod of hazel in my left (ungloved) hand and striking down with a small and very sharp hatchet to de-twig the rod. All was going well until the hatchet caught in a thick branch and pulled it down. This caused an excruciatingly ill sited and sharp stump to penetrate the palm of my left hand. It went right through the skin into the fat.

Could have avoided it if i had been wearing the leather gloves I bought for this very purpose but did not have to hand.

  • AWESOME !!!!
