So glad i got to be the first view on this!!!! You are my hero man. Can I ask, is that just an infared reciever from like a TV or something? I've wondered about doing a guitar project with infared leds and receiver but didn't know if it was conceivable to tear into tv's and vcr's for something that didn't work.... But it looks like it might!!! Awesome project!!!!!!!!!!! BTW hope you've had a chance to check out my new vids would like to hear what you think
@cershagree thanks man. i took the infrared led out of an old lcd pictureframe. it is a 3 leg led! you must connect +5v to one pin ground to another and the third pin is the output ;)connect this output to a simple amplifire and thats it. in my case i used the amp of a yamaha pss-101 because i was abled to cut everything unused away from the circuit board and make it small enought to fit in this case. the +5v and ground i got from an microchip on the board.the output of led to input of amp.
@BaumDerProllige Awesome man!!! Thanks for that i'll give it a try hopefully i can pull it off and you'll see my version sometime soon!!! Again you're awsome!!!
@cershagree by the way i have checked your vids. and i think you have potential. go on with bending, and im sure it will bring you a lot of fun :). AND i think these tiny comment boxes should have more letters.;) greetings
