I agree in Story lines, characters and artistic style Pixar are far better at producing a great family experience as they have more years of experience, although Dreamworks are still good at there work style in putting adult comedy in family film. the animation and environment it's just they have less years of experience but are still great at what they do in there own right.
I'm a big fan of PIXAR, I remember seeing Luxo Jr back in 1990. The only disapointing film from them for me is Cars 2, I really liked the original Cars.
For me Disney film are meh. Not a huge fan. I did like the orginal Tron film which I saw in the cinema back in 83 Which is where I first saw and fell in love with computer animation.
The couple of Dreamworks films I like are Shrek and How to train a dragon. They also made the only film I've walked out of cinema which was Shark Tale.
@Arthur40TwoDent Also Dreamworks where involved with Chicken run and the Wallace and Grommet film although that was made by Arrdman, it's a bit like PIXAR and Disney.
I agree that Pixar are better BUT I don't think Dreamworks gets the credit they deserve. They contributed a fair bit to computer animation as well. I never truly realised how good Dreamworks were until I watched quite a few of their films on TV over Christmas. Sure Disney and Pixar do create amazing emotional funny films but that doesn't mean Dreamworks is bad. It just means that Disney and Pixar go the extra mile when they make films. Dreamworks just doesn't. And there's nothing wrong with that
Totally agree! I much prefer Pixar/Disney films. I find them to be more consistent. There are some great dreamworks films of course, but they are more for a good time and a laugh as the emotion is sometimes a bit lighter than the Pixar/Disney. I feel more for the characters in the Pixar/Disney films- ie I worry about their fate in the story more which is a sign of great script, animation and voicing.
@FreeForAllGamerz agreed.

I agree totally. 100 percent. But its the difference between Apple and PC really in quality for me. One is cheaper and doesn't work/look as good.

Agreed! Disney Pixar harness emotion and beautiful cinema so consistently. Also, films like Wall-e have amazing morals too.

@NatalieZenaLouise Wall-E was great but not my favourite from Pixar.
