nesta cena os presos param e ficam ouvindo é uma cena totalmente atipica para uma prisão, mas o andy é um homem culto e com essa parte traz uma paz no filme que deixa todos encantados
I have no idea to this day what those two Italian ladies were singing about. Truth is, I don't wanna know. Some things are best left unsaid. I'd like to think they were singing about something so beautiful it can't be expressed in words, and it makes your heart ache because of it.
something good as this should not be held back by enforcements, in the movie, andy was not afraid of what would happen, he felt like a free man, and wanted the rest of the inmates feel free too.
This always bring tears to my eyes. I don't know why, I can't tell if I'm sad, or happy, but this song moves me. Its so pure, and for the whole 3 minutes and 41 seconds it plays, everything feels so real.
Mozart was a Freemason and this is one of their songs, Andy was a banker, and no doubt a Mason, he played the song to let others know.
Mozart wrote this peace of music above a sopranos normal comfort range, its as if he is saying that people should try and reach above their normal range, which is probably another reason why Andy played in the music.
In work now and feeling like I need to get away from this hectic office, listening to this song makes me feel that there are more important things in life than work and I need to start living before its too late.
@TheWoodx2 the austrian holy roman emperor disliked it.... i think he banned it actually in his own life time:S my history is hazy though. anyone care to correct me if im wrong:D
@999duhast I don't waste my life reading all the comments. You don't have to be an asshole about it. How about not responding if it's irritating to you?
With as much dignity as he could muster, the Old Man gathered up the sad remains of his shattered Major Award. Later that night, alone in the backyard, he buried it next to the garage. Now I could never be sure, but I thought that I heard the sound of "Taps" being played. Gently.
A friend of mine an Opera Composer told me one if it was not for the classical musicians we would not know or have music in this day and time. Since telling me that I've learned to appreciate Classical Music and how it relaxes the mind and soul, thxs Charles..
