@adripowermove I tend to disagree considering the originality of Kills move set. Cico strings together all the generic power moves better than anyone else but he has not brought forth anything new to the table since I first saw him in 2003. Whereas Kill has innovated and brought a palette of new moves that he has contributed to this cultures canvass in a short space of time. Opinions are opinions though so I respect you for yours :) Nice video. Peace.

What a lot of people don't realise is that powermoves is a part of bboying as well. A lot of people think that foundation is footwork, which it is, but so is power. They are both a part of the foundation of bboying. Powermoves are just as much a part of hip hop as footwork. The original bboys I believe started off with just rocking, then they went down to that floor which in turn developed footwork and powermoves. Mind you, a lot of the older bboys had crazy power and floats.

That's how it was done originally, if you wanna preach about being true to the roots and doing a certain way, then you should have fucking sick footwork as well as power, because that's how it was. Anyway, things change and evolve, for something to keep going it has to evolve and adapt, but it doesn't mean we should forget the basics of it.

I can't really uprock, but an uprock battle is meant to be like a fight...didn't look like they were fighting at all lol :P
