@meteora8423 - Little late answer but since it's written for the "movie" sicko I would guess the meaning behind the song is that he is singing from a sick / poor man's view and that he don't want to be left alone fighting his disease without any help from the goverment and/or the society.

morello was born on May 30th 1964 (wikipedia says '69 but 1964 is right) he first played in electric sheep, than lock up, than RATM than audioslave, now street sweeper and RATM reunion. hhe already has his arm the homeless guitar since electric sheep, his sould power guitar since audioslave and now he usually plays an acoustic ibanez custom guitar. he likes bruce springsteen much and also acdc, kiss and alice cooper, who inspired him to go play guitar. who is his biggest fan, me!
