  • You know, I've been meaning to watch this for some time now since I found sheet music for it. Damn that was impressive haha

  • Flawless!!!! Wow, so incredible!

  • CHAMPION FOR THE DOUBLE G

  • Man that was awesome. I like it better than the Maynard version.

  • @Dharok95025 Your too kind,

the posters over at the MF forum might pull their hair out if they saw this comment, but don't worry if that should happen because since the majority have no clue about playing high themselves, we would not actually see a lot of bald high note trumpet players running around!

    Thanks for your nice comment!

  • @yourbrassinstructor I could care less what the people at the MF forum have to say. I'm just jealous I don't have that range yet haha. Btw what moutpiece do you play on?? I use a Monette B3 and Schilke 13A4A and they seriously kill my lips.

  • @Dharok95025 You are out of mind

  • Good Lord! What kinda mouthpiece does he play on? I bet its a lot better than what I play on: A Getzen Eterna with a Schilke 6A4A Heavyweight mouthpiece.

  • awesome vid

  • Good Times!

Can anyone update me on the Peay? What ever happened to Bob Lee? Where is Bo, Andy, Shane and all the others?

What do they use this auditorium for now adays since the music is in the other building?

    just curious

  • nice high notes

  • Awesome trumpet player...thanks for posting.

The only thing this band was missing is chicks. I thought Austin Peay was coed? :o)

  • oh my god that is awesome^^

  • wow !!! thats more than great !!!

  • Wow! What a nice, fat, rich, open sound up there in the trumpet's "scream" register. Reminds me of the many times that I heard Maynard Ferguson or Bill Chase on some of their best days. : )

Thank you for posting this video!

  • Briilliant!

  • Is that the jazz band at Austin Peay? Is that Bob Lee in front of the group? That appears to be Lee Herring on trombone - this one goes back a year or two. Nice post.

  • You are correct on all of it!

  • Great job!

  • you removed the other vid? im glad this one is still here. i downloaded it so it cant be gone from my collection again lol

  • Unfortunately, it along with several others were deleted, but i am glad you enjoyed the playing.

  • Thanks!

  • Terrific- this one is my favorite.
