This film features me using the smalley on the River Thames, I loved it, used it for several years I now operate a larger dredger for the Environment Agency still on the Thames. Nice to have found this footage.
Amazing set of video clips, I've seen pictures of these machines but none in the flesh; this is the next best thing though. Thanks alot for uploading. Do you have any similar clips of the wide & long track version of the Smalley 808?
hi! i think this is the only video made by Smalley dredge comppany back in 90´s . I own one of this dredge its only one in Finland and it is for sale.

Are these still being manufactured. I want a towable backhoe but one with 360 swing which is hard to come by.
