no clue on the actual paint name, because I made it up. I'm getting ready to repaint the whole truck and will post the colors and amounts it takes to get this color. My buddy has a shop and can color code it with a paint camera that color matches it.
what color is that. like the exact name if you know. cause im getting a ranger and after a while was thinking red for a repaint when i put a v8 in it but man that blue purple. (blurple) looks sweet.
The paint is a deep purple, I just random mixed some different shades of purple and came out with it. don't have a name for it. The gauge is custom also from a piece of 1/4 aluminum. thanks good luck

just seeing this makes me miss my 1990 ranger with the 4.0 V6. Best stock motor that ford ever put in it. now this on the other hand would of been a great upgrade motor that ford should have put in as part of a performance package.
just buy mine its all done has a 302 from a 70 torino in it.wa. state craigs list click seattle search for v8 ranger mines the only one on there blue black stripes
Yes it is a plastic tube with ridges, you can get it at advance autoparts. Its a rad. hose repair kit. Its comes with a small tube and some glue to coat it with to help it seal.
im doing a custom swap also.. but what did you use between your rad hoses you know when you cut them and fit some kind of tube in between and the 2 clamps so you can turn the hose anyway you want?? i was thinking pvc pipes but i dont know if they will hold the heat..
Radiator is a custom one from griffin. and we don't have emmisions test in my small town(thank god) You can easily go with a efi 302 swap, just find a wrecked stang and take computer and harness and all efi stuff and swap it into your truck.
Probably a stupid set of questions... but what radiator did you use? and being that the truck was originally EFI, is it hard to get inspected (emissions-wise) with the carb setup in your state?

On my p heads, I used a set of ranger conversion headers and a extra header flange in between the head and header, you have to use two gaskets per side but it worked. Ford makes a header for the p head, but don't know how it would fit in a ranger. you can get headers flanges from summit or jegs racing. Good Luck

I used stock motor mounts with a adapter plate, Running a c4 trans and the t member is custom. Running a mustang driveshaft that is stretched about 5'', It is a easy swap to do. This engine has been sold, And At the moment building a 351 to put in it. thanks
Let me ask you 1 question? How did you get a big block Chev into a lil truck? I have an 02 ranger with a 4.0 SOHC, and been lookin at stuffin a 5.0 with a vortech in it. Must say this is sweet!!!!!

i'm gonna put a '74 302 in my '91 once the 4.0L blows but the 302 is a v-belt...How would use my altenator and P-steering pump since it's serpentine

hey man i built a 93 with a 302 i am having trouble finding a header to fit the gt40p heads do you have any suggestions anything will help.

The engine is a 302 stroker out to 331 inches, it is a small block ford engine.
