  • I hope you guys out there don't get me wrong. But most of the humor in MAD is not as silly and brilliant as before in the 60s and 70s. Why is this?

  • Because our sense of humor changes as we get older: been there, laughed at that. Also, it's hard to be subversive when the internet and cable TV bombard us with (attempts at) satire 24/7. MAD still does a pretty good job in an overcrowded marketplace.
