Just test drove a Cidetal and I'm sorry but that was the best durago dodge has ever made. It has merc like features and it rides alot smoother than the older ones.It might be smaller but the detail of space inside the truck is much much better. My mom has a 05 and she is seriously thinkning about getting the citadel. I'm glad they made it smaller also.

The Ram Truck said it has a 5.7 HEMI, its all wheel drive and way to low to the ground, its ugly and is a waste. No family car needs a HEMI unless its a truck. Maybe Ram Trucks will make a 4 door Ramcharger, I know wishful thinking.

@emllos The V8 from DaimerC. is a masterpiece. So is the Hemi series. They weren't built for raw hp. Look into their designs a bit. They do their specified job very well. And of course you can always increased its hp... =)

If Chrysler/Dodge will go on in this direction, with their stupid car-phantasies.. I don't know, but I bet they will loose customers. They definitelly will. Chrysler itself okay got an Aspen.. But I dont want any Aspen, I would prefer an old good established SUV/Truck as Durango.

@pzpepsi For the crappy 2nd gen, yes. 1st gen is way better, I call mine a truck. It was based on Dakota, Ram, and Jeep Cherokee. Truck Chassis, weighed over 6k lbs, towing ability enough to compete with other American trucks of its day, the hp, ability to take offroading, the appearance... I love my '02 RT.

Well, if the SUV's has the same power-train as the Trucks then they are considered Truck too! For example, Tahoes, Suburbans, Yukon's (Denali's) and XL's, Escalade's and ESV's. Their frames, engines, transmissions, their whole power train features and design came from the trucks like Silverado, Sierra, you understand? That's why some SUV's are sometimes considered as Trucks. Crossovers are Crossovers considered as SUV's.

@dnur567 ya it will... the 3.6L penastar v6 will give 18/26 and the 4.8L V8 will give 280 horses and 17/24 which is good for a full size suv and will have 5.7L hemi which will probably be 390 horses. and 20mpg

@MHaQuE32 how could a 4.8L V8 give it 280 horses if the new pentastar v6 with have exactly that amount (280 hp and 260 torque). when it comes out it will have 3.6L v6 and optional hemi. maybe they will come out with a smalller v8 later, but that will have hp in the early and possibly mid 300s, depending on whether or not they update the amount of hp in the hemi. oh and it might not have 390hp, probably at first it will have 360hp like the new grand cherokee that goes into production next month

@MHaQuE32 secondly, the chrysler 300/dodge charger/challenger were all based on the 1990s Mercedes E-Class Chassis. these cars weren't good, but even if they were, we can't credit this to chrysler since they had nothing to do with chassis development. i rented a 300 recently, and it was appalling. the trim was literally falling off, and it's absolutely unacceptable to have a 4-speed automatic in a $30,000 car.
