I heard that Suppressors wear out after use and it becomes less effective in suppressing sounds. Eventually you have to replace it and prolonged fire wear it out even more quickly. Is this True?
Yes it is true, but the longevity of the can depends on manufacture, and/or style. The Sure Fire m4fa is good to about 30,000+ rounds. Some others are good for 5,000+- to 15,000+- rounds. Some can's can handle automatic fire others can not.
Hmmm...they never let us fire the 249 SAW sustained like that. We always had to use 3-5 round bursts..."Die mutherfuhger Die!"

I have a surefire M4FA and use it exclusively on my M16. It is an excellent can. I recommend them to everyone. I'm uploading videos of mine now.
