She was "like" Lakini, but she is NOT Lakini. She is constructive, not destructive. Her hands have been in chains, she's been held down by powerful men, but she will rise, Rise, RISE.
they are not Christians at all, but yes, they take verses from here and there (Bible, Quoran).. I thin k they are a spiritual band.. maybe one of the members have christian's believes, .. they sounds great!
Luke 7 verse 38: "and stood at His feet behind Him weeping; and began to wash His feet with tears and wiped them with the hair of her head, and kissed His feet and anointed them with the ointment."
i dont care if they are "christian" or not. they are a f******* great band, period, hands down. and this song is one of the best written and best sung for me personally. i know non christians who are more "chrisitan" than christians are. so frankly, i could give a rats a** about that. besides, i thought christians were supposed to be non judgemental. so far, i havent seen that, EVER.
In a scene with studio bands and crappy live performances these guys stand alone with their amazing performances. Ed's voice is so great live as is the music! Bravo!
He's in a lot of pathetic things i imagine. He thinks he's some kind of guru when you see him play live. So annoying some of those rockstars think they have invented warm water when they have written some song, fuckin stupid! Its just a song boys....
No. I think Ed is just a spiritual guy and tries to stay positive. I don't always get Ed's lyrics or Live becoming a light band, compared to the heavy and deep stuff that we have heard with Throwing Copper and Secret Samadhi. But Ed and the rest of the band still deserve our respect. Well that's my opinion, friend.
i'm not saying that it's a bad change in the music. They're still an amazing band, but its just a fact that he's christian now. he's talked about it in many interviews i've seen so i was just sharing my knowledge. they absolutely deserve our respect as they're an amazing band.
Well Bob Dylan and other rockers went through this kind of phase, but never lasted long. I'm cool that he's Christian. As long as it does not affect their future music. Otherwise, their next albulm is going to be shit.
I trust Ed and Live. They have been my favorite band. It's just that I never heard anyone make great hard music album with a Christian meaning. Except for Creed. They believe in God, but without being annoying and condescending in their lyrics. Live's song from a black mountain album was okay, but I miss the agressive beats that we found in Throwing Copper while having a positive message. I want to see Live capture that essence again :)
Creed is a good example...also dont forget about POD...Evanecense...Jars of Clay...Switchfoot...those are only a few examples. There have been many Christian bands who still rock hard. To me, there is no reason it should have an effect on the music, itself, one way or the other.
holy shit such an energetic performnce!!!!damnnn!!!As always the enigmatic performance from Ed..!!!love Eddie's mysterious nature..its so unique...Lakini is the Goddess of destruction in hindunism..The song conveys the messege that in human nature, urge leads people to do what is wrong even if man is aware that he is engaged with a wrong deed..bascially its about human obssesions...conveyed with a dark and deep touch by LIVE..A very good spiritual song..superb...
This is my favorite LIVE song, they are my hometown band, they play local venues when they are home--nothing better than seeing them at the chameleon club in Lancaster,PA
Very heavy and unique song that inspired a lot of bands.Never heard a riff like this before it came out.Hard to find info on LIve,hence the universal name...
They aren't trying to bring a Stadium rocker vibe. They only play stadiums over seas. When they are home, they play small venues. They prefer to play inside so they can hear eachother better. Ed doesn't have to wear an ear piece in side. I know Chad Gracey's cousin. He's a NJ policeman.

yeah but when preforming music, its often very emotional which can make him look like hes being arrogant. and live is definitely a talented band.

Good song, unfortunate Ed has become such a dork. All that Jesus crap he is shouting pisses me off...

What are you talking about? Ed is in hinduism. Isn't he?

no man. Ed USED to be in hinduism. These day's he's a Christian follower.
