I REMEMBER THIS SONG WHEN I WAS A 3RD GRADER. & ALL THIS TIME THE SONG IS STILL HERE IN MY HEART. SOMEDAY I'LL GO ON STAGE & SING THIS SONG... DEDICATED TO MY LOVE ONES
i just can't let this pass w/o thanking the uploader for this "good & gentle" music ...Brothers four songs always take me back to "when life was mellow" & filled w/ true love & smiles among loved ones & friends...this was 1 of daddy's cherrished songs-i was influenced by parents who have fine-good taste in music...for mommy & daddy (he's 5 heavenly miles now away from us-RIP 08jan2010...Thanks!
@rasboi Godly day...thanks brother! but just to clarify-just my daddy who passed on...mommy is still with all of us-Glory to GOD!...may you have more good memories to come.
i really miss hearing this great song and music on the radio--thank GOD-there are people with a heart of class to share these songs to us--THANK YOU for being a gifted person and i truly enjoy all that is given for me to hear....and for many others....i am glad you share the earth w/us.
Wonderful song, which brings back lots of memories from my childhood in the early sixties! Many thanks for posting this!
I have been looking a long time for the song "Come to my bedside my darling" in original version by the Brothers Four. Impossible to find it here in Belgium. There are several covers indeed, but their version is a little different. Can anyone help?
Where did you get the current brothers Four pictures? Let me know, I'd sure like to get my hands on them. I have one of Mark's banjos downstairs. Mark is the tenor in the Brothers Four and plays, 4 and 5 string banjos and 6 and 12 string guitars. He's incredible. So are the rest of the guys. They have something very special going on right now and really need to be recorded before anything changes. I heard them in concert a few months ago. AMAZING MUSIC -- AMAZING MEN

Seems this resembles "900 Miles" in more than title. Both refer to the whistle being audible 100 miles away.

I love the Brothers Four and this rendition is 1st rate, but nobody beats the Journeymen's version of the song.
