He knows at last that she is a self-castrated man, but the last question he really wish to ask "her" is whether "she" is the one who slept with him .. there is something tragically beautiful and surreal about the whole affair , a tinge of homosexuality (from the point of view of Asia the Invincible) blurred with heterosexuality (from the point of view of the Swordsman) ..

HK martial arts movie is never logical .. in an amusing way, but thats the wonderful charm of their movies .. haha ..

@onngieVaaj90 Oringally he is man, but for practicing the Sacred Scroll, he cut his penis. So he is stuck in the middle, not a man neither a women. That's why he let his lover -Cici to serve Ling that night, which made Ling kept asking who Ling slept with that night even to the last minutes. Asia the invincible could not answer it. He loves Ling but cannot have sex with him.

Usually, sequels like this with different actors would kinda wreck the experience and goodwill of the original...this is one of the exceptions. (On the contrary, it kinda did wreck the goodwill of the original mainly because this is the film of the Swordsman trilogy that people know the most without knowledge of the original =P)

great movie the first one isnt as great as this one but if anyone really like this they should check out laughing in the wind or i think its also called state of divinity really good wuxia series laughing in the wind is the same as this but its much longer and the story is slightly diff but smillar it follows ling all the way
