What is truly sad about this is that George here didn't write this song. No doubt he's a legend, but this song was casted by the Jesus Christ of rock and roll, Chuck Berry. Listen to his version, and you can tell how George imitated every bet of it from the the guitar riffs to the saxophone solo.
@zenben1126 its stealing maybe when putting it on an album but playing live i think is just fun. maybe techniccaly its still steailng but im sure the only people that would really care are a few stiffs in a desk workin 4 a record company. i think chuck berry would just laugh at this
Well you're one of the rare young people that really has good taste. good for you for not doing that rap crap. Well, I'm assuming you don't like rap. lol
George just flat out rocks---The greatest. Seen him many times, but never saw dancers this bad not even myself, it just cracks me up, but they are having fun--ROCK ON GEORGE!!!
The best :) George Thorogood is the best performer to make it fun with Chuck Berry songs like "Reeling and Rocking" and "It Wasn't Me". Go Go Go, George!
Germans are funny. Ask them to come up on the dance floor and they take over the stage. Just like the Sudatenland! before George knew it, he was at the back of the stage and Gerbel's grandson had taken over the microphone!
9496tull, no you can't buy the DVD. You can find it on a bootleg site as a VCR tape. Which, I don't recall. It was a long time ago for me. But if you can get it, it's very good quality. Entire show. You gotta search it out. It will turn up somewhere.
I love it! "You can dance..but NOT up here..down there". So what happens...they ALL get up on the STAGE! SCHPREKIN ZE WHAT THE FUCK?! Oh, also LOVE the GERMAN Robert Plant when he commandeers the mike!
Fantastic bloody fantastic but George wouldn't win the X factor, but Ha Ha there again would he want to.

@zenben1126
and why is that sad? any fan of rock and roll would know this is chuck berry. whats wrong with covers
MrGergen 8 months ago
@MrGergen Because Chuck Berry didn't get credit for it. There's a word for that, and it's called stealing.
