(& the GG writers have made it quite clear in recent interviews that Chair endgame isn't happening anymore.)

@lovie2909 He was shot last year. That should have been motive enough to change. Instead he treated her like shit this entire season and only started chasing her again because of Dan and the Prince. He thinks its okay for him to kiss/have sex with everybody, but if Blair tries to move on, he humiliates her. And, yes, Blair does love him but that doesn't mean he's the love of her life. And it's quite telling that he didn't say "SHE's the love of MY life."

You can see his hand bandaged in another picture from the finale, so I bet that's what caused it.
