gootecks I think I know what your problem is... like mike ross said, "don't be afraid to go in." You are too used to playing defensively because of balrog, in street fighter you play like a turtle to charge attacks but in marvel to be the best you have to go ape shit... offense is the best defense, try giving each round the least time possible so you play faster (more aggresive), and also, may I sugest you switch either wolverine or x-23 for a different character? it doesn't matter who.

@combino The talon dive(dive kick) feels lucky when you hit someone, because often you can hardly see a character and they are always moving, so it feels random and lucky, this however can ben more controlled with calling in assists. In SSF4 the dive kick is lower and characters aren't jumping/dashing all over the place, so it is a more controlled environment and when hitting someone with it. MvC3 feels chaotic and lots of stuff can be blamed in luck, atleast i believe that is how gootecks feels

13:17 Mike's absolutely right about the throw at the beginning of the match. Not only that, but Wolverine will beat out many things at the beginning of the match with a throw, and then mash for extra damage.

16:43 You had enough meter to use X-23's Silent Kill, which is absolutely perfect for using on jump-ins that can't do anything about it except take the massive amount of unblockable damage.

To fight Advancing Guard, use assists to bog the opponent down and keep the pressure up. Good Luck!
