  • @Sideofyams Have you tried right clicking on the links to the songs and selecting save as for each song?

  • This is seriously my favorite song in the world. I cannot get tired of listening to it and it always puts me in a great mood whenever I hear it. I have had some very fond memories attached to this song- exploring the city, going for a long midnight drive, starry nights in the hills with good company. It's magical.

  • Reminds to to making railroads, lolz.

  • Good times! Memories of my own city growing! LOL Haven't heard this in like 6 yrs thanks!

  • this song makes me miss this game very much. i wanna play it again so badly.

  • Getting up early first thing in the morning as a kid to play this on my dads pc. Kept the city on floppy disk and later put it onto my computer.... so all I do now is boot up SCK3000 (one of 5 PC games I own) and play the city I made as a child.... shame I cant get my city from SCK2000. Oh well.

  • They dont make games like this anymore.i miss playing simcity, aoe 2,starcraft,warcraft and those type of strategies from beginning of the century.Difference between these games and games today is that these games had soul and every game was masterpiece.

  • @cwulf12 try AOM

  • Favorite of the WHOLE game score!

  • Good instrumental. I would prefore this song over some of the other SimCity OST (mainly the SNES songs).

  • This was my favorite song from this game! Sweeet

  • SC3000 songs are nicer than SC4 ones, maybe because they're more computerized or are simply more sweet :)

  • How Did You Get To The Songs From Sim City 3000 I Tried Every Thing.

Can You Tell Me Please. Please Reply..........Soon.

  • You can download them off the Maxis website.

  • Oops...I accidentally removed your comment- sorry about that!

  • when i downloaded it i only had part of magic city

  • @CascadianPatriot I've been trying to find the soundtrack for Sim CIty 3000 for the longest time. Thank you for sharing this info! :D

  • Hey Mike, Justo go to isohunt.com and search for Sim City 3000 Soundtrack. You'll find it there. By the way, you'll need the BitTorrent program to be able to download it. It's an awesome soundtrack. Good Luck!

  • this song with its vibes induced me in a building trance and as the sound grew faster my eyes opened in a vast land of choices and fascinating stuff.

  • i remember playing this game awhile back listening to this song. imo best song in the game

  • mhmfgmh.,h

  • this is as hard as hell to play

  • why's that? Cheats make everything easierrrr....

  • i know, not saying that i love cheating on games but it does make the game easier

  • this tune could really fit well on a movie soundtrack. It's actually THAT good. (I'm thinking the Truman Show...)

  • Aww man, I could listen to 3K's music all day, NOSTALGIA

  • Above all my favorite Simcity Edition

  • awesome... i still have it =)

  • SC4 may be amazing, but SC3K is so underrated. And this, along with "Desert Sand", is the best music in the game.

  • This song sounds so inspirational.

Is it just me or was Sim City 4's music disappointing after SC3k?

  • so true!!!

  • this song brings back memories :)

  • that game still is awesome!

  • i used to have this game years ago man it was good

  • ah the good ol days :P

  • Simcity 3000 is a great game..

its just as good to play as SC4

  • 1999 wahhhhh good memories

  • i use to play this at school :D

  • I love the SimCity 3000 music! It was perfect for the game and really got me in the mood for building a city. The repetitiveness, if you can call it that, represents living in a city very well.

  • That dulcimer is freakin' awesome! :)

  • SO many memories

    this game was amazing!!!!

    thanks for posting the soundtrack!!!

  • sweet song i remember times i played this game

  • this game has to have my fav soundtrack:D

  • great! brings back memories. i wish i could download it somewhere

  • limewire, you just have to find the right one, or find a disc somewhere, some places still sell it

  • From 2000 on theres just something about the music in the sim city games that I love. This is one of my favorites.

  • Man I forgot just how great the music was in this game.

The same thing with Beyond Good and Evil, you don't notice just how amazing the soundtrack is until you hear it separate from the game.

  • SC3000 had the best damn music. SC4 is super fun and a big improvement or 3000, but the music is so lacking compared to 3000.

  • oh yeah SC3000 is one of my personall fave games of all time & it always will be

  • centrall park sunday is better

  • wtf?!

  • What exactly do you mean by that (I need some context, please)?

  • I know what WTF means, but what I meant was what exactly is he saying WTF about (the song, some comment on here, etc.)?

  • I don't think you can speak for aleksanderhagane, unless you know him or her well in RL. Also, don't say the song sucks- say why you don't like it (aka the music is too jumpy, it doesn't go well with the game, etc.) You need to justify your comments.

  • ok, i'll make a new comment..

  • I ended up downloading this song and adding it to SimCity 4 because I missed it. This is my favorite song so far from the SimCity series.

  • perfect for travel

  • How did you get the sim city music????! 5/5!

  • From Maxis' website.

  • yes!!its awesome that so many of you enjoy this game too..and this track is beautiful..awesome find.

  • Because everyone likes different things- it's critial to culture and society that we have a variety of opinions for humanity to thrive.

  • You also need culture, since culture leads to exploration of nature, which leads to science and technology, which will provide the means for humanity to spread off the Earth and surive and thrive for mush longer.

  • umm do animals have culture? no they do not and humans are considered animals and animals can only live with bare nessesitys and anyway you could get bored but hey go outside run around and stuff like that you do not really need technology to actualy thrive just like in the colonial times they had to live off the land and natives helped them out through the harsh winter they did not have much technology then so consider the colonists and natives freinds that helps each other through challenges

  • If you want to escape asteroid impacts and other large natural disasters, then yes, you need technology. Life before even 18th century technology (vaccines, sanitiation, etc.) was very hellish (even somewhat for the rich- castles were a great place to catch disases). Besides, the Native Americans had much more technology then most people think nowdays, and so did the colonists. And, BTW, many animals DO have culture (not as big as ours, but it's still culture).

  • umm... wow how do we escape astroids? lol anyway our common ancester the monkey or chimp or whatever is still alive today and they have no technology at all and we evolved from them and then cavemen started creating useful objects that they used to catch food and stuff and it was just in time to right before the ice age and guess what? they survived and what animals have culture? umm anyway this is a great conversation :)

  • Monkeys are not our ancestors. We both share the same "apelike" ancestor.

    Cheers

  • Djesszes is right.

  • monkeys are apes and we share that ancestor

  • What Djesszes meant to say is that monkeys, apes and humans are all descended from one coommon ancestor.

  • which is somthing in the ape family and monkeys are in the ape family so i am very close

  • Not that close.

  • Colonization of other planets. And monkeys, along with ants and many other animals (yes, I do mean ants) use tools and have a society.

  • no duh animals have societies ants have anthills chipmunks has dugouts umm whatelse... moles also has a tunel system and no ants do not use tools they use there own strength to lift stuff and there so called "mouth" i dont know the real name but they use it to like cut stuff that isnt technology that is naturaly on them anything that was naturaly there is not technology

  • Some ants use seeds shaped by their mouths to dig tunnels and actually know how to farm fungus and can experiment with different types of farming. Many birds use tools in very cratively and certainly not preprogrammed ways (have you ever seen a crow try tons of ways just to get at a bit of food or something else they want?) and parrots are not just repeaters- they can form new words and concepts (although it's a very limited capabilty to do so). BTW, I'm enjoying this chat too. :)

  • lol i can not agree with that cause i have not seen it happen! i hardly see any crows and parrots i beleive were not supose to talk i think its just a way of anoying people (thats my opinion of coarse) :P

  • Go ask any university bird researcher about parrots and their ability to process language (mind you, it's very limited). You could also look it up on the Internet. The reason behind this is that it is benefitical for parrots to mimic other birds' and animals' calls. Over time, it also became helpful for them to understand, in a limited way, the meaning of the calls (so they could be warned of predators, know about food, etc.)

  • your obviously smarter then me :P

  • Hm, because it is a beautiful, calming, and yet powerful song. It makes me smile and feel awe.

  • Thank you so much for uploading this. This track brings back so many memories. :)

  • FUCKING KICK ASS!!!!!

  • malo

  • Best song for sim city EVER
