I've seen this video countless times, and I still can't help but cry. My family adopts special needs children. We have 3, 2 with Down Syndrome. There's nothing more amazing and loving than a child with Down's. Though one of my sisters passed away from a heart complication with Down Syndrome, she will always be one of my biggest role models.

My nephew has down syndrome and was born deaf. he is 20 months old now and will soon be able to hear with the help of special implants. i wish the whole world could know a child as amazing as him so they would know just how truly special they are. Down syndrome children and people are just as much a blessing as you and I. he almost died several times at birth. hes braved dozens of surgerys and still smiles more then anyone i know<3 They have the biggest hearts. I gave birth to a son with DS 16 years ago. Unfortunately, he had heart disease as well, stayed in the hospital for his entire 4 months and 4 days of life before going on to be with the Lord. Now I have a precious guardian angel always watching over me. Thank you for showing the world with your video that these children are very special! The world needs to focus on everyone's ABILITIES, not thier disabilities. I hope you don't mind if I share your video.

I am a teacher of students with disabilities. I have a student who has down syndrome and I tell you what, this little boy has LITERALLY changed my life. I feel so blessed to be his teacher. He has some really great challenges (more so than most kids) including type I diabetes and PTSD from being abused as a toddler before being adopted by his amazing parents. What a blessing these special children are to all of us.

I have an 11 year old brother with down syndrome and severe autism too, i love him so much. He means the world to me, even though i only get to see him once every 3 week because he lives far away so he can have 24 hour care.He can't talk but he knows who we are and hugs us and kisses us everytime we see him. He's so special to me :)

My brother was born with down syndrome. Right now I share the responsibility in raising him with my mother and I can honestly say it is quite hard. Difficult when they try to express their feelings or even communicate. Sometimes you end up crying because you can't understand why they're crying or angry. Then we have people poking fun when they don't make a single consideration to the hardship faced by people raising children with DS.

Beautiful!! After reading your information, I had no clue so many people would terminate a pregnancy due to Down Syndrome. My husband and I faced the possiblity of having a downs baby because of my age, but we NEVER even thought about terminating. My sister has downs and has a totally wonderful life and has made ours wonderful. When I tell people she has downs they say "I'm sorry". For what???? Anyhow, your daughters are beautiful and enjoy them both!!
