@ukanlos71 it happens. i would recommend unlocking the fatalises if you want to farm them for rare items. you have to fight in 3 to 4 rounds but you if you save before fighting the last round, you can reload and fight the last round again and again till you get what you want. i can usually do the last round solo in 12 minutes with a LBG and maybe some bombs.

@DokDoMHFU If you have the Adrenaline skill, you get a massive amount of attack when yur health is low. And barrel bombs are a safe way of doing that.

With the DL quest in MHFU would I still be able to kill it with this method without using adrenaline? I'm looking to get eyes, if even survive the fight. I realize it wouldn't be this fast but would it still get the job done? Or would I need a buddy shooting as well in order to kill him in the time limit?

@Birdboy07 No. As mentioned, this is for MHF2 ONLY. They patched the fireball attacks of ALL monsters (ians, garugas, fattys) to angle toward the player even if on the ledge.

i use that bow to solo unlocked g-rank fatalises. easy to get horns, wings and eyes. the easiest way to fight them is to cluster spam using a light bowgun, if you're not after anything specific.

felyne heroics gotten from a kitchen cat who has felyne heroics skills when eating his special food type. Adrenaline+2 is a skill from armors (like monoblos) when you have 15 points of "Potential."

guess no one told you CAPCOM tweaked the overpowered akantor bow down in Ubite. You can upgrade it back to those levels, once you killed Ukanlor.

since it's mhfu, i'm guessing you're talking about the fatalis that is repelled at 25 mins? (no downloads yet as of this time) first of all, finish all battle trainings for the barrage piercing to give the akantor bow the 3rd charge (rapid). Get armor w/ guts and focus and get good at aiming for the head. always circle around him so when he turns to face you, you're set up for a head shot. you might also want bullet limit skill so you can combine max no. of power coatings. add bombs n presto!

I've repelled him many times at 25 mins with the bow, but I only use it if I want the eyes or wings.

it's way easier just to cluster bomb with the light bowgun.

you have to upgarde it with ukanlor stone and finish battle training (or get load/capacity up skill) to get the akantor bow back up to specs.

remember, don't use pierce shots, get the capacity up skill to use the rapid shot and hit the head where he is weakest.

just get autotracker skill so you know when to get out of camp. there are times fatalis will be slow in landing, and you shouldn't go out while he's still in the air.
