  • this is the new b-52s

  • this is fabulous

  • this is garbage

  • in the day when this hit the radio....this was the most complex cumilation the recording style...they totally nailed the sound...great idea for a song...there are not many cohesive songs that are of any interest to the general public...i reallly like it...and your concept is a secret well guarded from my competition and critics :P

  • Like many others here, I encountered the snippet of this on an old Windows system before I "got religion" and abandoned Microsoft. ;-) Since I like this tune, I'm curious what else the group did. Anyone know what's on the rest of this album? Did The Holidays release more than one album?

  • @dcubuntu I've got the whole "everyday is a holiday" album. I can upload the rest of the tracks soon.

  • The "fragment" of this song has been kicking around in my head for almost 20 years! I always wondered what the whole song sounded like! Thanks so much for sharing!

  • @jabberwockze Lemme guess, windows media sampler circa 1991-1995? Sometime 'round there?

  • The full video is now posted - search and enjoy!

  • I'm the keyboardist with The Holidays and just burned a DVD from the original videotape. I'll get it in the computer and upload it soon.

    THANKS FOR REMEMBERING US!!!

  • @dewzuki Wow Thank You So Much!

  • How embarassing - a garage band FINALLY gets a shot at fame and the only thing it ever amounts to is a 30 second Microsoft multimedia demo. Is the entire "video" available or just the audio? I wonder where this band is now.

  • wow....has it really been that long since that little 30 sec clip showed up and bewildered so many of us?

  • haha ahhh!! i cant believe it!! No one ever knew what i was talking about when i sang this song!!

  • wow... all these years of waiting. Just like everything else in life, i am disappointed as a result of anticipation. still, it's good to nut this one out after 15 years of blue balls.

  • Thanks!!!! So cool to hear the whole song after all these years!

  • Ahahaha oh god I had this on that Packard Bell Multimedia Pack disc. The 30 second clip from this confused the hell out of me 16 years ago... and now the actual song is... wow. Whole new ballpark of "what the hell" here.

  • OMG! I've been searching high and low for this song, thanks for posting it!

  • thanks for posting...!!!!!

    :)

I have been waiting for 16 years (since 1993) to listen to the full-lenght song

    XD

    yeeeeeeeeaaaaaaah...!!!!
