A CLASSIC! Elvis could sing ANYTHING, thats why he is, was, and forever will be the KING of MUSIC, not just Rock N Roll, but the entire industry. One of his best songs IMO.
I saw this movie as a kid I was 12 and we knew that Elvis belonged to our generation because all the Grown ups hated him.......People today will never jnow what it was like.....There was limited mass media back then and he actually captured the entire world.....

@sue4343 ... watch him sing it to the girl in the movie and tell me how sad it is that she dies before the movie was screened at 23 yrs old he was 21....she never got to see herself on screen he felt alot for her too ive read about his feelings for the girl and he never watched its screening as he was overcome with grief as she died in a car accident with her husband that week it was to open.

@TheBeatlesmakepeace I saw Elvis in 1973 before he really started gaining weight. I knew he was going down hill even in 1973 because they would show pics of him drinking coke after coke after coke and his diet was terrible and his life style well I don't have to tell you he was always depressed about not being able to go out in public.

This is such a very beautiful and romantic song and one of my all time favorites. Elvis always refused to watch the movie "Jailhouse Rock" after his leading lady in the film Judy Tyler died in a fatal car accident in Wyoming in 1957 which also killed her 2nd husband. Judy was only 23. All three of these very spectacular people left us way too soon.
